Reeeeeeeally wanted to give this 5 stars. Knocking off a star because both my friend and I got food poisoning after eating and this was the only meal we shared that day. Will give this another chance in the future and revise.
Service is stellar. Like seriously. We didn't have a reservation but they were still able to accomodate us at peak dinner time. Very patient in explaining their menu. Checked on us frequently, changed our plates with clean ones after every round, cleaned any spills on our table, always seemed to bring out the next course piping hot just as we finished the last one.
Food tasted phenomenal. I wanted to order literally everything on the menu. The gnocchi poutine was definitely the most unique. Restaurants usually skimp on desserts but not here - make sure to check it out. Price wasn't even that bad considering how amazing the food was and how stuffed we were afterwards.
Street parking. Location is a little odd being right under an apartment complex.
Definitely coming back, but I would be supremely disappointed if I get sick again.

Absolutely delighted. Had the beef tartare, Brussels sprouts and burger. They were all great. Great service too.
Healing colors with low light bouncing off copper. The double cheeseburger is delicious!!! There is always Gin in the Banana Stand!!!! So yummy!! We will be back.. it was a great seat at the bar for a birthday tonight. Totally enjoyed it.

First time at Gus Gus and the food just blew our minds! Quality ingredients, beautifully paired and seasoned. Everything we tried was delicious and our server Adam was very attentive and a fun host! This might be my new favorite restaurant in the cities! Yumm!
Intimate eatery in St. Paul - the dining room can get a little loud when it is full, but the space is cozy and inviting.
After seeing several tables near us all get cheeseburgers, our group of three also all opted for the cheeseburger and fries. The burger is excellent, solid bun, smash patties, carmelized onions. The fries are ample and perfectly crispy and salted. The Brussels sprouts were a nice side to get in a vegetable along with the burgers.
The cocktail program is excellent, some unique takes on some familiar cocktails (banana liquor in the Old Fashioned) and there is a really nice range of mixology across spirits and flavor profiles.
Looking forward to returning to try other dishes (though the burger will be a steady draw).
Little know place but great food and drinks. Loved the cheeseburger!

This is the kind of food that’s so good, you’ll randomly think about it. It could be a week after you’ve eaten here, during a totally mundane moment of your day. So good that it becomes an intrusive thought in the best way possible. Would give more than 5 stars if I was able to. Get the tuna crudo. Get everything.

Food is amazing. Had the burger, mussels and gnocchi. Burger was one of best I've ever had and the gnocchi was pillowy and served with an amazing sauce. Cocktails were lovely and service was kind and attentive.

We had a really great experience and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the prawns and beef tartare for appetizers! My husband loved the scallops and risotto and I greatly enjoyed the ribeye. Everything was perfectly cooked and was well balanced. Chloe was an excellent server and gave great wine recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!
