John's Pizza Café Reviews
HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian.
This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication...read full review
Jan really is awesome! and the whole team makes us feel at home every time we eat there! Every item on the menu is a best ever!
We were visiting our son and daughter in law in St. Paul. We ordered from John's and it was delicious! I highly recommend you try the pizza here !

John's Pizza Café is a must-try destination with a great menu and excellent service. The hand-tossed Works pizza is a standout, and the Medium size is perfect for two people. The atmosphere is old-school and charming, with a warm and welcoming family vibe. The pizza is topped with fantastic sauce and plenty of cheese, and the crust is a hit. With fair prices and great food, John's Pizza Café earns a high rating and is sure to be a repeat destination.
The café is known for its quick service and good food. Customers praise the customer service, especially for delivery orders. The sauce is a bit sweet, which many find works well with their palate. The café is locally owned and operated, making it a great choice for supporting the community.
However, the café has room for improvement when it comes to vegetarian options. Some seemingly vegetarian dishes, like the plain cheese pizza with wild rice, actually contain meat, which is not clearly communicated. Employees may also be unaware of this, posing a potential health risk for vegetarian customers.
