Halibut is horrible. Terrible sauce wrecked fish.
Ended up in here two nights in a row bartenders were very friendly and fantastic at making whatever cocktail you fancy. The food was excellent if you’re in the area make sure you stop in

I took my girlfriend here for brunch for her birthday. The website had two brunch menus - brunch buffet and ala cart. I initially expected to have the option but the only option was ala cart. Not a big deal but a little disappointing. Dining room was empty but we were seated right next ti the payment station anyway so we were constantly interrupted by that, and the waitress was so nice but hovered. I ordered shrimp and grits while my wife ordered eggs Benedict. Her meal was fine, nothing exceptional or terrible. My meal was honestly disgusting. The grits were overwhelmingly sweet, I could barely eat them. They have chipotle honey and I asked the actress if it was normally incredibly sweet and she asked the chef, who said it’s a little sweet and the saltiness of the shrimp balances it out. I ended up just eating the shrimp without the grits because when I paired the two, the shrimp was overpowered totally by the sweetness and it was gross. It was disappointing. Service was great, though, and our waitress was sweet. She even lit a candle in my girlfriend’s hashbrowns and sang to her for her birthday. She made up for the disgusting grits and wasted 25-30 bucks I spent on them.
Sat down at a bar table trying to get a drink, took 15min and we left with no service. Nice inside though
It was unique experience for staying here one night, other then hand was sink in the bathroom was plugged everything was very cool. I learned about the hotel history. It is located in downtown sant Paul
I’ve stayed at the St. Paul hotel for several years now, and I’ve never been disappointed. The staff and facilities are all first class, couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks again for another wonderful stay.
Good accommodation. Personal service is great. Clean rooms, food good, little pricy. location for my business trip perfect, is centered in the area. Loved how is maintained throughout the years. Relax
Love the old feeling and service they offer. Bell men and the furnishings added to the ambiance. The food was amazingly good and the bar has an extensive selection. I also felt secure at this location.
Consistent quality and value at the St. Paul Hotel is guaranteed without the hoopla but more so by the incredible effort of the staff that is effortless. From my early arrival to in-room and venue dining to the daily interactions ~ I am always satisfied.

This is a iconic and well maintianed hotel with excellent staff and support at every level. The rooms were beautiful, well appointed and with the latest technology. The location or Rice Park is spectacular.
Beautiful, clean comfortable rooms. Nice views Outstanding staff, Easy to get to many downtown locations, Easy walk to to Herbies across the park. Excellent restaurant. The Ordway theater is next door to Herbies and also a quick walk. less than 5 minutes. The hotel bar had 1st rate service and drinks. Our group had a buffet breakfast on the last morning with a nice variety of delicious choices.
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were luxurious. I love historic hotels and this one was elegant down to every detail. The staff was attentive, but with a warmth and cozy-friendliness that I really loved. Any request was met with cheerful helpfulness. As amazing as the hotel was, the staff really made this a great stay!
Too often in today's fast pace world, the "niceties" of life--opening a door, etc. are rarely seen in even major hotel establishments. The hotel's interiors and exterior are also beautifully done. The beds are comfortable and the rooms a nice place to retreat to if needed during conferences.Every staff person I met was friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience.
This is how the other half live.
