First time here in about a decade and unfortunately felt let down - the food was middling at best. We ordered the speidini (big loaf of fried mozzarella) that was far too much for two - the sauce was intensely salty and since the item was served on it, it was in every bite. RUN - don’t walk to this place! We are visiting St. Paul and this is one of theee best Italian restaurants we have ever been to (and we have some experience in this kitchen!) Everything was just phenomenal- Highlights: The Braciole app is probably the best we have ever had. We had a wonderful dinner outside on the upstairs patio Friday evening August 9. Our server was new, but she did an excellent job and was very attentive but not intrusive. We were able to taste test the wine before purchase. We had the Stromboli appetizer (yum) followed by Chicken Parm for the husband and Rigatoni with sausage for me. Both were very good.
