Wow! Fabulous from the beginning! Nice, attentive staff. Great food (try the toasted lemon angel food cake!). Decent prices. And a woodburning adds to the ambiance!

My only note is that when the dining room is full it can be very loud. If they had less tables and more spead out it'd probably be perfect.

But we will absolutely be back, this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while! Glad to have a local nearby spot for decently priced fresh pasta! Thank you!

We made reservations for dinner here after a play at the O’Shaughnessy Auditorium because of their gluten-friendly menu and the option for outdoor seating. The food did not disappoint and we’ve discovered a new local option for gluten-friendly products - Sunrise Flour Mill in North Branch.

What I thought would give us a choice of indoor seating versus outdoor seating resulted in no choice - sit outside or wait. We chose to sit outside despite the heat and enjoyed our company and the food.

We’ll go back again and we’ve also found places that carry Sunrise Flour Mill products for our day-to-day baking.

Dietary restrictions: Their use of ancient grain wheat is definitely gluten-friendly and we’ve since been looking for places to purchase Sunrise Flour Mill products.

Slow service, strip mall vibe interior, just ok Italian food. If you’re gunna spend $38 on 8oz of halibut and 4 pieces of lettuce I’d do it somewhere else

Sydney made our engagement dinner so special and so perfect. We’ve celebrated multiple times with Luci Ancora and each time is one to remember. Absolutely delicious food, perfect ambience, and tasty wine. An immaculate experience! Thank you Sydney!

We had early reservations, the place was not busy yet and still, know it was our anniversary , they wanted to seat us in the far back dark corner. I asked for another table and they did seat us at a vacant table for two at the window. The food was really poor. Salads nothing special. Used the same lettuce for all salads listed. They do not know what a bolognese sauce is. Their version is tasteless. Their pasta was horribly over cooked and mushy. We have been to Italy numerous times and no Italian, North or South, would ever serve this and be proud. Over cooked, under seasoned, over priced. Won’t return.

Just the best place! We love the staff here, it is family owned and run, and they have been so wonderful each time we visit! We had our wedding reception here during the height of COVID and they worked to make it just as special as our precious venue would have been! We have our extended family Christmas party here each year as well and the food and atmosphere is wonderful every time!

I had not been back here since they set up their outdoor patio area and it is so quaint and adorable. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us frequently. She had good recommendations. I had the homemade pasta with the spareribs that sadly I did not think to stop to take a picture of… My apologies… But that spare rib meat was so tender, the little bit of fat that was on it appropriately so was so soft it just melted into the food, and the pasta was perfectly tender as I like it. Their bread that you get with The meal has a nice sweetness to it from the heritage grade that they use. The prosciutto that was wrapping the asparagus had a great flavor, and the Montepulciano by the glass was a very nice recommendation from our waitress . Soft and not too acidic but dry enough to complement the sparerib pasta. Really was a lovely experience all around and it reminds me why this place is such a gem for the neighborhood.

My wife Elizabeth and I have been going to both the old location and the "new" for over 30 years, and cannot say enough about the level of service we always experience, along with consistently high quality and delicious food! 5 Google Stars to the Smith Family and their family of employees!
