The Pistachio croissant was pretty good but not rave-worthy. The Kouign Amann pastry was terrible, it was really dry and tasteless. It seemed as if they gave us days old pastry. We were there at opening at 9am...so not sure why it didn't taste fresh? The best thing there was the latte! Coffee is terrible everywhere in the Twin Cities, but this spot actually makes excellent coffee.
I really want to like this place but it is too inconsistent. When fresh, they can be good but been too many times now that the pastries taste like day old. Arrived at opening this morning thinking that would help but both the pain au raisin and pain au chocolat were heavy and felt/tasted like day old pastries.
