What a wonderful new addition to St. Paul! Pabamboo has only been open for a couple of weeks, and we were so impressed.
It’s a lovely family-run restaurant with Laotian roots, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely kind owners who take the time to talk to you and make you feel at home. The menu is beautiful, with plenty of choices—from pho to curries and lots of other tempting dishes.

The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. I had the Tom Yum soup and Cashew Chicken sans cashews. It was beautiful and it tasted wonderful. No scap pieces of lemongrass hull in the Tom Yum (if you know, you know).

Pabamboo Asian Cuisine in St. Paul has a new owner and new delicious food. The restaurant is a totally warming place for couples or to chat about business. Come to their grand opening this May 31st for 25% off from 12pm to 9pm.
The food is phenomenal. Favorites include the seafood pad woon sen, which has a rich seafood flavor throughout the glass noodles, and the beef pad kee mow, which is tasty and perfectly cooked but a bit on the spicy side. The egg rolls are up there with the best. The garlic chicken and potstickers are so delicious, with a flavorful garlic sauce that even young children love. The massaman curry is pretty good, though the red curry was very spicy and super salty. The peanut curry chicken is tasty. The papaya salad is a little more mild in flavor but still good and spicy. Portion sizes are solid.
The staff are welcoming, genuine, and friendly. The inside is cute. However, the ambience needs a huge update, as people continuously come in and out for delivery orders. Service can be slow, and one person's food may arrive before another's. Overall, the food is great and the restaurant is recommended.
