About Mickey's Diner

Mickey's Diner is a long-standing historical diner that has been operating since 1939 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It offers a classic diner experience, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24 hours a day with its own parking lot. While the menu may not be extraordinary, the diner is known for reliable and satisfying meals such as sandwiches, omelets, potatoes O'Brien, pancakes, and shakes. Recent reviews highlight its nostalgic vibe, good food, and friendly staff. Customers praise the superbly seasoned patty melt, cheeseburgers, and peel on fries, describing them as delicious and well-seasoned. The atmosphere is often described as a beautiful gem, with some noting the cozy, old-fashioned setting that makes for an enjoyable visit. Although some items like fries can be soggy or made in old oil, the overall experience is valued for its authenticity and welcoming environment. Parking can be limited, especially during peak hours, so visiting during quieter times is recommended. Mickey's Diner remains a beloved local spot for a quick, hot meal in a casual, no-frills setting. Recent reviews also mention that the place has a relaxed atmosphere with welcoming staff, making it a good spot for breakfast or quick meals with friends or alone. Seating is quite limited, so arriving early is advised to avoid waiting. The portions are hearty, and the environment is cozy and unique, often filled with a nostalgic charm that many visitors enjoy.

The food and awesome atmosphere never changes (and that's a good thing) but this most recent visit also featured the BEST customer service. From what we experienced and what we observed, every stranger is treated like a friend. It was rare and wonderful feeling!

What's not to love?! The cook and waitress have a love/hate relationship, which explains why she's sporting both the hickey and black eye (just kidding...they said it!) hee hee! Great pancakes, child and Mulligan stew! And of course, excellent atmosphere

This is not upscale dining. It fun, down home people making a living and IT IS GREAT!!! You will get what you get and like it. Great experience! I will be back.
