I placed an online order around 10:40pm with the form of payment being cash. After my order had been submitted and I wanted to track my order, the website redirected me to DoorDash tracking because it would be more efficient. After redirecting me to it, it also gave me an option to change my payment from cash to card which I ended up doing. The payment was successful and I was charged $38.07 from my debit card thru DoorDash. After a while I go to check on the status of my order and see that it was cancelled 5 minutes after I had first submitted it. I called the store and the person on the phone was rude and rushing me. I didn’t even get to finish the sentence before he interrupted me and said that my orders outside. I was like “..okay.. how do you know?” And he said that the driver had just called him to call me. I was okay with that disrespect and let it slide. My sister went outside to get the pizzas, but the driver said that she had to pay with cash and he refused to give her the pizzas. I came outside to try and resolve the issue. I explained to him that I had originally selected cash to be the form of payment (and showed him the receipt for that), but changed it to debit after the order was submitted thru the DoorDash tracking that the Papa John’s site redirected me to. I showed him that I had also been charged from my debit accounts but he gave me the attitude that he wasn’t trying to hear any of it. He said that this is above his pay grade and he doesn’t get paid enough to be dealing with this and to call the store because he can’t wait for me and will be back if the issue is resolved. I said that they close in 30 minutes so how would I be able to receive my pizzas. He said to just call the store and rushed to his car and drove off. I called the store and the same man from earlier had picked up. I quickly explained my situation to him and he asked for the order name. I provided it to him and he said that they haven’t received the payment and that he could redirect me to the customer care, again sounding very rude and quick. I asked about my payment tho? And he said they’d give me the refund thru there. I said okay and asked for the customer care and he gave me the number. I called and the automated voice told me to leave a message and that’s they’d reach back to me within 48 hours.

So I did not receive my pizza and I have to wait 2 days to not receive my refund, but to just get a response from my situation. The situation was handled so poorly and disrespectfully, I’m so shocked honestly. And I’m not one to be an angry customer or look for anything to make a problem since I also work at a fast food place and I know how customers can be sometimes or what it’s like to have a bad day while working trying not to put it on the customers, but I wouldn’t even treat my rudest customer like this. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced and of course I won’t be back here again. The redirection to DoorDash is clearly not a good system. If only I could give this review a 0/5

I ordered a large ultimate pepperoni and a large Philly cheese steak pizza with an order of 16 wings and a 2 liter.

Both pizzas were half crust and half toppings. The toppings did not even come close to the edge.

The wings were great though.

After delivery, taxes and a $20 tip it came out to $88 and change, and the best you did was two half pizzas.

Pitiful.

So I have been exclusively going to this location since I moved to downtown St Paul. My apartment does a customer appreciation day once or twice a month so I go here quite a bit. These guys are normally 9/10 n some of the best I've had at a pizza place. This location ALWAYS makes fire pizzas. But tonight my man made me a work of ART! ? ? Seriously it looks better than the commercials and tastes amazing. Straight pizzagasm status. Perfection.

ordered pizza and boneless wings. pizza was ok, about as good as a frozen pizza from a grocery store. boneless wings were terrible, not crispy at all. very mushy texture. seemed to be natural chunks of chicken because of random sizes but terrible consistency. and why not crispy? i have had many tenders and wings from the frozen aisle that are much crispier than these. i don’t understand why they can’t make a better baked product.

bottom line, do not get the wings

I ordered a pizza for delivery and received the wrong pizza. I was told by the manager that the correct pizza is on its way. That pizza never came. I called back after 45 minutes and was told that “it’s on its way” by the manager but after 2 hours I don’t believe it is coming. Order from somewhere else.

Ordered online. Order never arrived. Called and James who answered the phone said it was a DoorDash driver because they were too busy and that he would send one of their drivers out within 30 mins. 45 mins goes by and ANOTHER door dash driver shows up with only 1/2 items on my order. I call back, get some bs explanation as to why I was lied to, and then hung up on when I asked for a refund. James is a punk that needs to be fired. And if I don’t see a refund on my bank ledger in the next 48 hours I will be in the store to discuss this with him in person.

Every time I order pizza from here it's an edible just a waste of money I've tried a few different times months apart from each other just doesn't work try a different location the pizza taste good

Had a couple poor experiences here. Most recently, it took over 90 minutes to get our pizza, so they gave us a promo code for a free pizza. When we went to pick up the free pizza at the latest projected time, they hadn't started it and said it would take another 20 minutes.On top of this, the promo code didn't work when we tried ordering online. The call center couldn't fix it and transferred us to the store. The store couldn't fix it and told us to call the customer service line to get it fixed.
