Great atmosphere on Christmas Eve! Staff was very friendly and the Pillbox Burger with tater tots was perfect!
I would strongly suggest going if you are a bourbon enthusiast. They have a great selection of hard to find bourbons and the prices are very reasonable.
I wish I remembered our waitresses name but shout out to Matt, the owner, for taking the time to chat with my group and share a few stories.

Fun place to watch a game. I had the buffalo ceasar wrap, was an interesting combo, ceasar doesn't kill the heat like blue cheese does. Service was great, prices were reasonable. I luckily found a spot on the street, right in front.

Party of six. The food results were 50/50. The drinks were great. The burgers were dry and needed something more. I don’t think either came with their respective sauce or aioli. If it was there, it wasn’t enough. (2 Bacon bleu’s and a mushroom Swiss burger were ordered) Fish n chips were good as well as the shrimp po’boy. The deviled eggs and buffalo chicken dip were really good. Blackened walleye tacos were not good.
This place was not what I expected for a downtown restaurant with downtown prices. It felt more like a suburban sports bar.

Bad service by a bartender with a horrible attitude. Made me and my family feel like a nuisance for being at the bar. Very disappointed. Wish we would’ve brought our service somewhere that wanted us.
Did not eat stuffed in for a couple of drinks in the evening. It is a very pretty bar. You do have to go down a hallway to find a bathroom that has a key code. That bathroom is clean it's just inconvenient.

I would not recommend Pillbox if you have food allergies, or avoid certain ingredients for personal or religious reasons. I ordered the Jalapeño Corn Mac & Cheese without bacon - as I got to the last third of my plate I realized there was bacon underneath the noodles. Not sure what to think, whether this was intentional or carelessness, but it isn’t acceptable. Other than that it was surprisingly lacking in spice for something that has jalapeño in the name.
