I recently bought an espresso machine and a nice grinder and wanted to find a local-ish roaster to buy beans from regularly. We tried two others and weren't blown away but then I did some research and found Roots Roasting. I stopped in on my way out of the city and was pleased overall by the service and my experience. The barista was friendly and offered a good suggestion for me + it was delicious and well-crafted. I also took a bag of Ethiopian beans home and brewed a cup today. Very good coffee! The roast and roaster notes were spot on.
