I really enjoy the local businesses in my neighborhood and try to explore, but I won’t be coming back. I won’t spill my guts too much because I’m choosing to not come back to this brewery.
Service is usually terrible and unfriendly. This place obviously doesn’t care for customer experience from reading previous reviews on Google. Mandatory tips and still asking for an additional tip is weird. Don’t accept cash? Ok. And I love to tip friendly and welcoming servers/beertenders. Food wasn’t great or worth it last night.

Here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. As a Hamm's beer fan, imagine my shock when I realized it was the original brewery! 😱 I was blown away by the history, artwork, and of course, their Shamm's on tap (own version given licensing). Food was top notch brick oven pizza. Such a great evening, and the staff was over the top accommodating.

Let me tell you something, you guys. The tater tot’s were absolutely out of this world and I will be dreaming about them constantly for the foreseeable future. I was blown away. Absolutely perfect and crispy on the outside, golden brown like a California sunset in late July. The inside was soft, gooey, and hot with the perfect consistency that gives you instant comfort in your mouth. They were life changing. All other tater tot’s have basically been ruined at this point.
The San Pablo beer is the perfect embodiment of what my dream beer would beer. 10/10. The flavor, perfect weight, the right alcohol percentage. It’s truly the perfect beer. As a Mexican beer lover, I’ll be daydreaming about this at work when I’m I in the throws of it on my 10 hour shift and my coworkers are pissing me off. It’s that good.
The service was impeccable. Very attentive, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. They made sure my group and I were taken care of and I couldn’t say enough nice things. If you’re looking for a casual, low-key hang out spot with great food and drinks, then this is your place 100%.

To start off I love how pretty and cozy it is. The plants and brick wall vibe go together beautifully. I remember 5 years ago this place had some really great pizza. I came back today and the menu has changed for the worse. My pizza was not great and extremely salty. My husband got the Korean chicken and it was also not great. For the food I would not come back but I can see this place being a nice spot for drinks and socialization.

I love St. Paul Brewing. It has tasty food, some good beers, and is a great place to hang out. Having said that, tonight's visit was not up to par. While the food was generally delicious (terrific Elotes Brussels sprouts and quesadilla nachos with pulled pork), a couple of the salads were meh and my turkey bacon club was served with no turkey. The server apologized and did bring it back with the turkey added (plus a coupon for a free pint). At checkout time, two of the people in our party had egregious mistakes on their bills. Not sure how that happened since we all used the app to order our own meals, but both had a number of items added on the bill that they did not order. I don't know if it's the restaurant's fault or the software app, but it's something that should not happen.
