I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and their food truck. By far, the BEST tasting bbq in the twin cities. Especially for the price. I’m writing this as I currently live in North Carolina, and Smok’n Outdoors is still way better than any BBQ I’ve had down here. This is a Twin Cities hidden gem. I wish I could replicate it down here in North Carolina because it’s that damn good.

Stopped by without realizing they were a full house and busy but they were very respectful, communicative, and professional with everyone. I placed an order online one time and they were out and they were very professional about it by contacting me and making sure I know and so I can substitute it. You can't go wrong with what you ordered here.

Great food and amazing people. I love this bbq joint. The way they designed everything just feels like home. Their food is made out of love so it hits a little harder. I religiously eat here now.

This is by far the best Bbq i have had in Minnesota. The brisket was very tender, fries were seasoned nicely, the mama's pulled pork was a new and tasty take on the sandwich. Would highly recommend!

I am from the southwest so I have had some great ribs, but nothing as unique as this. ☺️ Fantastic ribs and burnt ends. Fries, apple kale slaw and cold macaroni salad also amazing. The chef came out and was so gracious. We will be back and will bring friends!

Smok’n Outdoors consistently delivers on quality. My latest visit I picked up Mama’s pulled pork plate with creamy white mac & cheese and sticky rice. The pulled pork is flavorful with a floral kick with the Mama’s sauce. This pairs well with the sticky rice. They always have an intriguing monthly special item. This time I had brisket lasagna with garlic bread. Really good baked lasagna. The monthly specials are worth checking out! Great food and quality service here!
