Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had—no question. The maple bacon one blew me away. The filling is rich and flavorful, and the donut itself is perfectly soft and delicious. You can tell they care about quality. I’ll absolutely be coming back every time I’m in St. Paul. This place is a gem.

You can also access So Yen from inside the building and there are some tables in a lobby area.
I would love to see a menu with a little more description of the offerings since many are unfamiliar to me - maybe a mobile menu with photos?

The donuts are good but the filling is pretty much the same flavor for any donut you choose. The only difference is what fruit they put on top of it. Would be better if the filling flavors matched the topping. The pork congee has zero flavor, but once you add the tiny spicy sauce that comes with it, it tastes a lot better.
