TL DR; Good food, crap service.

Walked in on 4:00 on a Thursday afternoon, plenty of staff. Plenty of them milling around talking and laughing and having a great time. I'm totally for that, but also do your job. Waited for 15-20 minutes at a table, making eye contact with anyone who would. Eventually made my way up to the bar because I thought that was maybe where you had to order. Then after talking to two different waitresses I eventually found our waiter was in the back somewhere. After 10 more minutes of waiting, he eventually showed up. We were the only table on his section, and he still managed to underwhelm.
If you're looking for the typical airport millennial brew pub fair, this is the place. Juicy Lucy burger, or the blue sea or whatever they call it was delicious, hot and flavorful. Tater tots were crunchy, ketchup was on the table room temperature and slightly vinegary.

I travel quite often through MSP, so far I have found The Blue Door has the worst service experience of the sit-down restaurants I have patronized at the airport. The food is ok, but the last 2 times I went there, it took way too long to be recognized and served. Not trustworthy when on a travel schedule.

Stopped in for breakfast on a layover and the food was absolutely horrible! The garlic aoli was the worst I've ever had, I don't even think I would even call it an aoli. The oil they are using for the tator tots went bad a year ago. The price for this food was absolutely insane for the pile of trash they set in front of you! The stink of the oil used and the absolute overpowering of the garlic. Don't waste your money!!!! I think chips from the vending machine would have been more fulfilling

My family was on a make-a-wish trip for my teenage son who had a successful kidney transplant had placed his life saving medications on a table for 30 seconds to take them when a server rudely told him to remove his meds and leave the area. We were going to have breakfast but because of the poor attitude we went to another restaurant. It was not a great way to start a trip for a kid who had a long illness with a long recovery.

Food was okay. The burger was good but the fries and tots were just okay. More importantly, the service was terrible! It took nearly an hour to get our food. The server never checked on us before our food came or after our food came, and didn't apologize for the wait. I would not recommend to eat here, as I am certain there are other places to dine at the airport with better customer service.

Pretty awful all the way around… if enjoy beyond overcooked burgers and fries and waitstaff that want nothing than to avoid you, this is the place for you. Otherwise do yourself a favor and run…

Burger was okay. But fries never came. No drink refill offered. Service was slooooooooowwww. (Not something you want at an airport - luckily I wasn’t in a hurry or I’d have missed my flight and still been hungry).
