Absolutely the worst service. This is affiliated with University Club of Saint Paul notoriously known for terrible service. No attention to detail. We were served the wrong food. The service was significantly delayed and the food was mediocre at best. Don’t spend your money here until they fix this problem.

Went for our anniversary dinner and had a great time. We'd never been and heard good things from the reviews and gave this place a shot. Our server Jody was attentive and gave a great drink recommendation. We had the ribeye and a couple or mixed drinks. Wow! Everything was fantastic! Can't wait to come back and try something new!

I was very excited to hear this place was opening back up and it did not disappoint. My husband and I stopped in for a night cap and had some of the best cocktails we've ever had. The atmosphere and vibe were so fun, like being transported back to the 1920's. We can't wait to come back for dinner sometime.

Very cool new spot for drinks and some apps, love the vibe already. Great cocktail list well executed. Only suggestion would be to remove the Absinthe from the gimlet, it doesn't work in that drink. A must stop when out and about in St Paul.

Very cool ambiance, like stepping into the 1930s. Excellent old fashioned and bee’s knees martini and cheese curds were great. Service was friendly, however still working out the bugs on timing as it’s only the second day of their soft opening. Parking is limited but easy to find street parking.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Commodore Restaurant in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This was our second time using this stunning location for wedding photography, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The timeless, Gatsby-style elegance and historic charm of the venue provided the perfect backdrop for our special day — the ambience alone is worth the visit!

A very special thank you goes to Lydia, the on-site coordinator, whose professionalism and attention to detail made everything seamless. From our very first interaction, Lydia was incredibly prompt, thorough, and kind — she truly understood our needs and went above and beyond to accommodate us. She made the process of securing the location easy and stress-free, even offering suggestions to help us make the most of the space.

And to top it all off, the team surprised our wedding party with a complimentary bottle of champagne — such a thoughtful and classy touch that made us feel truly celebrated and welcomed.

We wholeheartedly recommend The Commodore to anyone looking for a rich, elegant, and dapper venue for photos or events. Whether it’s your first time or your fifth, this place continues to impress.
