Fantastic atmosphere in great staff! There can be a cover if there is a special event so be ready for that but it is always good entertainment and worth the dime. Cheers!

Great stage and live music

We came to the Doghouse to support a friend of ours, a keytarist who was playing his first concert through the School of Rock program. The space is large but cozy, with plenty of seating in a variety of high-stop and standard tables. We were quickly brought water, our orders were taken, and before we knew it, our food had arrived. We ordered the waffle fries and a cheese quesadilla, both of which were quite delicious and very affordable thanks to all-day Sunday happy hour. Overall, this was a fun place for a show and the food was better than expected at similar venues. We would definitely come here again!

Place is clean and service was good... the would have scored higher, put they advertise karaoke on Monday from 9 to 1 on their site,but shut down at midnight... then the KJ tells the crowd if they want to sing more, get there at 8. Us 'out-of-towners' came when the sit said they had karaoke. That comment by the host was uncalled for. Poor advertising or disrespectful KJ... either way, not likely to be back.

Great Place, Great Food, Great Staff!

Our server did great with a big group on poker night. My $15 hot beef sandwich with chips was fine but plain.

The pull tab lady is thr best employee u have

I visited Dog House in Maplewood last night and had a concerning experience.

I ordered a drink and paid for it immediately after placing the order. Later, when I ordered a second drink, the bartender told me that I had never paid for the first one and that I owed him for both drinks. I explained that I had already paid and was certain of it. He said he would check, walked away for a while, and then returned asking for payment again without providing any clear confirmation that he had actually verified the transaction.

After I questioned it a second time, he briefly went back to the register and returned saying there was no record of payment. Although I was confident that I had already paid, I chose to pay again rather than create a scene or argue.

What concerns me most is that later that evening, while at another establishment, I mentioned what had happened. The bartender there told me he had heard similar complaints from others and claimed that he had experienced something similar himself at this bar.

I cannot say whether this was an honest mistake or something else, but the experience left me disappointed and concerned. I would encourage management to review their payment procedures to ensure customers are not charged twice.

Large sports bar. I was there for a benefit and it has a good layout for the various fundraiser activities and the large amount of people.
