Fun, experimental brewery ?

Stopped in for drinks with friends when the Black Market took place in their shared parking lot. I didn't even know this place existed, so I was glad to stumble upon it. I heard it might be closing, but I hope not because I would love to visit again.

Fantastic menu - lots of great choices and a nice, spread out space with lots of natural light. Unique beers that are delicious!

The Lab has a great NA beverage offering for anyone looking for a brewery with a range of options! I'm not alcohol-free, but I do appreciate a unique NA offering. I loved the Ruby Moon - colored with Butterfly Pea Flower for the pretty purple color, the taste is subtly sweet with a hint of earthy florals - a friend described it as an adult gatorade type taste. It would also make a delicious cocktail mixer if taken home and wanted to add in some gin or vodka! I grabbed a crowler to take back with me, plus a Kombucha. 4 stars because unfortunately the taproom is closing July 31!

Spent the wonderful weather on Saturday with the @mnhomebrewers and @thelabminnesota. Homebrewers started setting up their systems at 9am to show new and veteran brewers alike how to brew beer in celebration of Big Brew Day. The Lab also brewed some wort for the day and shared it with brewers, which can then be used to ferment and create beer / mead! I'll be using it to create a Hefeweizen. Plenty of sun soaked in throughout the day, fantastic beers / mead / cider shared, and even better company. Thanks to the MN Homebrewers Association and The Lab for putting together such a great event.

Ok... not truly a 4... more if a 4.375. Why take off star? No food. But you CAN order. So what was good??? The drinks!! OMG. I got my card, and proceeded to try everything!! It was fun and delicious. But what was THE BEST part? They had the food truck competition going on in the parking lot. Yes, it was 10$ to enter, but there were food trucks and other vendors to browse! We got some eats, and sat on the patio, and laughed for hours! It was a good time, really cute space, with tons of room! Have a bridal shower? Birthday party? Or just girls night out? Hit up The Lab!

Such an incredible place, if you like to try drinks before they become "cool". this is where alot of your favorites start. I learned alot about this place and it made me fall in love with the craft. My new go-to date night spot. Business banquet parties and all kinds of event hosting possibilities. 10/10!

Hard to recommend something specific since I don't think I've seen the same thing on tap between the times I've been here. Enjoy the novelty of brews with numbers because they don't have names yet

This would be AMAZING if this place was in my backyard! A girl can dream! Love the laid back atmosphere here. They had the patio open and the breeze was heavenly throughout the building. Thursdays they have live music and they are dog friendly too. I love that you can pour your own taps! Board games are available if you want to make things competitive! I recommend playing board games & making the l**** buy the next round! Beers were good! I enjoyed the Wheat IPA most :)

The Lab was an okay brewery. The beer selection was fairly small and their seltzers we're only above average. They have decent parking but no food

The lab is a bright and open brewery. We went on a Thursday evening an hour before close and there was plenty of seating and even some live music! We chose to sit away from the live music to hear each-other and luckily there were plenty of seating options. We chose to visit this brewery because it is on our Pub Pass. The bartender was nice and took our orders quickly which we appreciated. As for the number of beers, there is not too many. For being on the Pub Pass I would have expected a larger selection. However, all of us enjoyed the beers we did have. There was a wide variety of non alcoholic beverages, if that is what you enjoy this is your place! Overall, a nice experience just wanted more to choose from:)

This place is always just perfect. The staff are friendly and welcoming. You can pour your own beers by the ounce/mug or staff will pull the drafts for you. I love the frequency of new drinks here and always some great variance and even non-alcoholic options. Nice outdoor seating option during season, plenty of food vendors deliver, regular food trucks (prior to pandemic), tons of parking on-site. I can't really find chinks in the armor here. Probably they should increase/up their email mailings though to better keep spreading the news and events.

Great beverages (lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, including kombucha, ciders, and seltzers for our gluten free friends), easy parking, cool tap wall. Only complaint is it can definitely get a little noisy indoors.
