Tried the eggs commodore with hash browns and the buttermilk pancakes. Really like the eggs and the pancakes were not too sweet! The atmosphere is very pleasant and it’s a very cute brunch spot! They do have lunch options but they’re known for their breakfast/brunch.
Good food and the service is amazing.
Regular at the old Little Egg in Mpls. before they closed at the outset of Covid. Missed dearly and will be making trips to St. Paul. The food is definitely worth the trip!!

Egg and I is a spot for a conversation-friendly dining experience. The wait staff is nice and provides amazing service. The food is good, with a great variety of options on the menu. They serve favorite breakfast items like scrambled egg whites with spinach, home fries, and pumpernickel toast. Portions are large in size, and meals arrive with remarkable speed. The atmosphere has nice church basement vibes. Sundays around noon are generally packed, but the staff remains friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with high chairs and a menu that offers plenty for kids and seniors. Parking can be found in the larger lot to the side of the building. The food portions are large in size and staff is always friendly when it comes to customer service. Monthly cravings for pancackes keep customers coming back everytime. The place is clean and the food is great.
