Wow!!!! Such an amazing pie. I've only really had major chain pizza, but I want to be more intentional with where I spend my money this year in supporting the communities I love. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. Spent $36.27 with delivery, and honestly, it was mid at best. Everything about it could use some work. The dough tries to mimic New York style, but it lacks that fresh, airy texture you expect from a real NYC pie. The sauce tasted more like straight tomato paste, which no true New York slice would ever use. The cheese had a waxy feel, and while the pepperoni was decent, it wasn’t top-shelf quality either.
