It was my first time checking out this place since they opened, and I was slightly skeptical of the matcha due to previous reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that the pandan coconut matcha was fully whisked with minimal clumps. I would’ve liked to have a stronger matcha taste that balances the coconut flavor, but perhaps they would make it stronger if you ask. I travel to the Twin Cities a few times a year and always look forward to visiting Phe when I am there. I have tried the pandan matcha and banana matcha here - and they were genuinely best-in-class compared against Socal/PNW favorites. I also had the banh mi which was good!

There were plenty of parking lots nearby, or you could park on the street like I did. I only paid 75¢ for an hour. I came on a Monday morning and it was pretty busy. But I was lucky to grab a spot in this cozy corner and had a great time reading my book.
The strawberry matcha cloud was delicious! I definitely want to come again to try their specialty...
