Food was good, wine selection is also good, especially for an airport bar. Valerie was really pleasant, knew the menu well and maybe just the nicest person I've ever encountered in an airport.

Absolutely the best. Lori. She is so engaging, attentive, and fun. A layover can be grueling. She made it a memorable. I will definitely stop by again.

Waited 45 mins for anyone to come to my table, was then to close to my flight time to order anyrhing so they kicked me out of the table I was at. Mind you the place was completely empty.

I'm not usually a wine drinker, but I stopped by Vino Vino at the airport and the woman behind the bar gave me a great recommendation. Ended up really enjoying the wine—smooth, easy to drink, and exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for. Super friendly service too. Nice little surprise in the middle of travel!

Let me tell you something about airport bars – the real ones, not those sterile lounges where business travelers hide behind their laptops. I'm talking about places like Vino Volo in Minneapolis Terminal 2, where the beautiful chaos of human travel plays out in full technicolor.

At the heart of this controlled mayhem stands Marcy, a force of nature in an apron. She's working the room like a champion prizefighter, dancing between wine bottles and draft pulls, orchestrating seating arrangements, and somehow making every stressed-out traveler feel like they've just walked into their neighborhood bar. This is the kind of service professional who makes me believe in humanity.

The Malbec Nieto Senetiner arrives in a pour that speaks of generosity rather than profit margins. It's aromatic, honest, exactly what you want while watching the parade of humanity shuffle past. But it's when I switch to Minnesota's own Surly Furious IPA that things get interesting. This is no concession to local pride – this beer is the real deal, as genuine as the midwestern spirit itself.

Here's the truth about travel: sometimes the best moments happen before you even board your flight. I get to airports early not because I'm paranoid about TSA lines, but because of places like this, where stories unfold in real time and someone like Marcy can turn a fluorescent-lit corner of Terminal 2 into something magical.

Keepin’ It Real

Ridiculous, just go ahead shut down already. Looking for a decent place to get a glass of wine and bite, visually this place fit the bill. Not crowded. Like two people at the bar and NO one in the dining section. I look at the woman’s pizzaette and looks good. Start to sit down and bartender tells me it’s drinks only, he’s backed up and has no cook. Say what?! It’s 6:00pm, prime time, and that’s your story? Why are you here? Unacceptable, two thumbs down.
