Rude, impersonal bartender.
Probably because I only tipped 15% when I preordered my food and drinks online?? Extremely weird behavior.
I always carry cash and would’ve certainly left her more but the reason people tip 20% is for receiving good service. You can’t even smile? Girl, please. Never again.

I had truffle fries and fried ravioli. I thought both were really good! Beer was nice and cold. Asked for ranch dressing and ended up having to go to the bar as wait staff didn’t bring it and bar tender was great!

QR code never works, you have to insert all your credit card data on their iPad.
Service is slow, they just give you a small glass of tap water.
If you have enough time avoid absolutely this spot and find something else at the airport

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. First, the server added a 20% tip to my bill without asking for my consent or giving me a chance to decide what I felt was appropriate. While I let that go, what happened next was completely unacceptable.
Partway through eating my meal—which cost $51 for a salmon dish and salad—I discovered a hair embedded in the food. It was not just any hair; it appeared to be coarse and resembled a beard or even a pubic hair. Needless to say, it was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my appetite.

When I brought it to the waitress’s attention, she apologized and offered to either remake the dish or issue a refund. At that point, I was in shock and just wanted to get out of there. I couldn't believe this had happened, and I was honestly too disturbed to even argue further.

This level of hygiene is unacceptable, especially for the price point. Staff should be required to wear proper hairnets—including for facial hair—when handling food. This was not just disappointing—it was revolting.

Please be warned: I would not recommend dining here. If you value cleanliness and basic respect for your dining experience, you may want to go elsewhere.

I mean we dont have good expectations from over priced airport places to begin with but when you can't even get somewhat close to what you order then wait over an hour for a replacement that never got remade so you spend 40$ for no reason and since its all online good luck

For airport restaurants, this place is quite good. I got here at 9 AM on a weekday. While the gates nearby are crowded, the restaurant here is not very busy. I sat down and noticed the order QR code on the table. But before I could aim my camera at the code, a nice server was here already. He took my order with a smile. Within minutes, my food and drink arrived. The food is fresh and warm, and the coffee was hot. So I enjoyed my breakfast and sat for a while, because there are never empty chairs near the gate in MSP.

I've not eaten here. Im at the airport waiting for a flight, sitting just outside this restaurant. Granted, it's 6 AM, and only 1 person is working.
First, the guy announces to everyone that if they are not buying anything to basically get out. Then, as people come in he's yelling how he is the only one here, if you pay with cash you need a manager. There is only 1 manager on this concourse, etc. Now, he is yelling that they don't have enough staff to make lattes, but you can go to Starbucks for that. This guy has no clue what customer service is.
I just find that this guy is in the hospitality business yet offers no hospitality. I will walk down the terminal to eat elsewhere. You could not pay me to go in there with this clown at the helm.

Ate at Volante while waiting for our flight to Spain. This restaurant is located in the MSP airport. It was on the expensive side but everything in the airport is expensive. We ordered and paid off the QR code so our server basically only brought out the food. Food was average, nothing to write home about. They did have outlets at every table which was a nice feature.

Even by airport standards, this place sucks. The robotic protocol, while efficient during busy times, is tedious during slow times. I had to submit a phone number, CC and ID in order to complete my Bloody Mary order. I know that you guys are trying to differentiate through automation, efficiency and tech, but dont forget why people go to bars.

To the woman that saw I left my stuffed dragon behind and sent it down to the gate after me: thank you so much. You went above and beyond what you needed to not just as a server, but as a person. I was so worried I would never see it again, thank you so so so much!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were served an open bottle of white wine, and after just one glass, I ended up with a stomach ache and a headache, which made me question its quality and freshness.
Additionally, the service left much to be desired. The waiter approached us to take our order without even offering a menu, which felt unprofessional and rushed.
My biggest concern, however, was being asked to enter my credit card information directly on a tablet. This felt insecure and uncomfortable, especially with no clear explanation or reassurance about how my information would be protected.

Overall, I left feeling uneasy and unsatisfied. I hope the management takes steps to improve both their service and customer safety protocols.

To the lovely lady who followed me back to my seat to retrieve a cocktail that was legally purchased by someone of age. I hope you have and bless your heart !! I hope you enjoyed my cocktail and the tip you received. Ohhh and by the by the way there is no signage or law that states
I can’t consume my cocktail in my terminal even if it’s as hot as your temper was when you came to find me .

Best wishes and have a great day !!

I can only speak to the poor service because I left before ordering food.

This restaurant requires customers to use a QR code at the table to order. My phone was not working so I asked the bartender if I could order without the QR code. He said a server would be with me. A server walked by, did not take my order, went in the back and started loudly complaining about me not using the QR code.

After hearing the server complain about me I left. Very rude service. Do not recommend.

I ordered a child's breakfast. They delivered it and when I asked for the orange juice that came with it, she said that because I as an adult ordered a child's plate I didn't get it now. This seemed to really agitate her which was surprising to us. She then said if you want your orange juice put it on the tab and pay for it...again. Either tell me I can't do that or give me what I paid for. I order off the children's menu everywhere, even high end places. This is stealing!

Wrong order: I ordered a breakfast sandwich without avocado. It should have come with arugula, chili flakes, and cheddar, but they just gave me american and egg, which was just steamed scrambled eggs. With potatoes that taste like the fridge and a few scraps of peppers in the breakfast potatoes, there's no effing way this was worth $25. The coffee was alright.
