It's Saturday Night and we have a 7:30 Indoor Reservation - Instead: 1st We arrive and there are zero clues as to where to check in. 2nd Hostess warns us that our table might be as much as 5 minutes late. 3rd It's now long past 8:00 and no staff has approached us or even acknowledged our waiting. Other parties are not willing to tolerate these same circumstances and just walk. Oddly there are quite a few empty tables. 4th Hostess now asks who we are. She says she tried calling us, although we were right in front of the host stand, and in checking my phone there was no such call. 5th we're seated outdoors about 40 minutes late. 6th We reiterate to the hostess that our reservation was for inside seating and was for 40 minutes earlier. She tells us they are short staffed and management doesn't want to hear what that's doing to the customers or staff. She indicates she's doing all she can and that she's had it at being underappreciated. (We should have empathy for her?) 7th Menu is Not what is online (WTH). Lastly, no-one apologies or acknowledges any of this. Be forewarned. Recommend you go elsewhere where they want and deserve your business (this is Not that place). White Castle gives better service.
Beautiful landscaped patio, under-staffed, painfully slow lunch service, wilty salad, decent burger, fries and drinks.
We were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and chose WA Frost because it was a beautiful spring evening and love their romantic patio. On our previous visits (brunch and dinner), we’ve enjoyed the food and great service. However, it took over an hour to receive our food and my pasta dish was inedible. We weren’t in a hurry so the wait didn’t bother us. Until realizing it was not worth the wait. I expected pesto pasta to be made of basil and pine nuts. However, it was made with a pea paste (I barely touched it as I hate the texture and taste of peas). When the waiter asked if I was still enjoying my meal or needed it boxed up to go, I told him that I didn’t like the food and wish the menu description had mentioned the pasta had peas in it. And he replied that the menu does say that it has spring vegetables. I could have picked out the peas; however, when the sauce is mashed up peas, it’s impossible. I would have told him earlier but he never stopped by. My husband enjoyed his meal (he shared with me) and the shrimp in my pasta was really good but overpriced for 2 pieces. We still gave a 20% tip because we didn’t feel it was the waiter’s fault. But then learned that they already charge a service fee. It’s a shame because we’ve enjoyed this place before for its ambience, service, and food. Management: Do not reply with your template response. I did speak up but it was not remedied. Doubtful we will return.
The food is great the drinks were good and service was impeccable. the architecture, the history and the furnishings are really neat the artwork on the walls are very unique
Great service, high quality comfort food in a really nice atmosphere. I truly recommend it. I also appreciate that the music is kept at a level that doesn’t inhibit conversation.

Went at 9pm for date night.
This place restores the soul. Beauty abounds. Crisp Nightcap rocks.
Thoughtful NA options.
3 deviled eggs, not 4? Boohoo. Burger is worth at most, $15, not $21.
Bar food is telling me: "You should just eat in the restaurant, you fool!" Not at all bad, not at all great.

Overall decent experience but left disappointed. Came here for Valentine’s Day. I had a reservation but the restaurant was running behind by about 25 minutes. Went over to the bar to grab a drink and the service was pretty poor there. When I got seated, I was tucked into what seemed like a side room, separate from the rest of the restaurant. Dinner service was good but food was only okay for the price.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in awhile. We were at bar area which was meh nothing really spectacular. Our server came over and started with good service but ended it bad. We ordered a variety of shareable food the deviled eggs, cheese curds and onion petals, a burger and the spinach dip. My friends also had a lemon drop and the plum mule. The food was terrible as a matter of fact some of the worst bar food I have ever had. The dip tasted so artifical and all you could taste was cheese, the burger was ok but the thick cheese that was on there was disgusting and barely melted, the deviled eggs had shrimp that wasn't cooked on top and it was gross and the cheese curds were just cheese nothing fancy. We waited for some time for the server to come back which I then let her know the dip and the eggs we did not like and wanted off the bill. She said no problem and took the eggs but left the dip. So we waited and waited and someone else came to the table we gave them the dip and then waited for her to come back over. Her service has now changed from good to bad and we sit quite some time before she comes over. When she does she asks how did we want the check split we tell her in four ways she says ok and then comes back and drops a bill off not split. I look at the bill and the eggs are off but not the dip so I tell the server who snatches the bill (she is mad now) and tells us she can't split the bills even though she is the one who asked. So we wait and wait again mind you its 7pm our reservation was for 530 and we are still sitting there. The server stops back by about 5 minutes later to tell us she is having her manger take it off the bill but he is taking his sweet time. Next thing you know out comes the manager who stops over to the table and asks us what was wrong and if our service was bad. We proceed to tell him about the foods that were supposed to be taken off the bill and he argues with us that the best he can do is a gift card we tell him we didn't want a gift card and we need our money ASAP!!! We would never come back there so why argue over $22. My friend tells him what he is going to do is take it of and bring the bill so we can pay he argues some more stating the server said we ate half of it blah blah then agrees. The server who is now pissed comes back and says I'm sorry he felt the need to come do that and leaves the bill doesn't come back for awhile so my friend has to find her on the way to the bathroom just to get the bill paid. The bill was $138 ridiculous for that overpriced, nasty food they sure didn't deserve it and we will never come back!!

We sat in the bar, which I prefer anyway. The service was excellent and prompt. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their breakfast but my quiche was tasteless with a cardboard-like texture. I wouldn’t suggest ordering that.

The bartenders were awesome while we waited for our table. We arrived early.
The host went above and beyond to let us know it was time for us to be seated. Kudos to HIM!!
Our server was fantastic, attentive yet gave us the right amount of space to visit with each other as we only get together yearly!
Food was exceptional. I had the cauliflower, didn’t realize it was an Indian dish. I cook a lot of Indian so had pasta and burger envy!
Al fresco dining was our goal, and it was above expectations!
WA Frost Did not disappoint. 🩵
