Wild Fish and Chicken is a restaurant that offers a really good environment with friendly and always kind people. The food is described as "the best food in the East side, no doubt." This restaurant has plenty of parking space in a safe lot, making it convenient for visitors. The owners and workers are always smiling and create nice vibes, making it kid-friendly.
Many customers have praised the warm and welcoming atmosphere, highlighting the friendly and attentive staff who make everyone feel at home. The food is absolutely delicious, with dishes like chicken wings, shrimp, chicken rice, and Philly cheesesteaks standing out for their generous portions and top-notch quality. The loaded nachos taste amazing, and the fried chicken is noted to be fried perfectly every time. The late-night hours, especially the 3am closing time on weekends, have made it a popular spot in the Twin Cities.
However, some customers have experienced slow service during busy times, with one waiting 45 minutes for nachos. Another customer was disappointed with the lack of coleslaw and sauces, even though they were promised. Despite these concerns, the fried food is noted to be crispy and hot, with offerings like butterfly shrimp, catfish, and chicken tenders all being well-received. The cheese curds have also been mentioned as amazing. Wild Fish and Chicken is definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area, and many plan to make it one of their regular choices.
