We go here all the time. As good as any sushi in the twin cities, and always very good (and fast) service. Tasty drinks as well.

I thought based on the Google reviews and Beli score I would really vibe with this spot. The atmosphere inside was great and our server was nice. But, the food was a big letdown. It wasn't bad, it was just okay. The specialty rolls were not a good value for me. They were similarly sized to the classic rolls and the flavors were again just okay.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed. The gyoza was pretty salty (but really crunchy!). The udon noodles had good veggies but the sauce was pretty bland and the chicken was dry. The rolls were decent! We paid $95 with tip, didn't seem worth the price Beautiful restaurant though!

Moved to Minnesota about a year ago and have been searching for a go-to sushi spot. I found this restaurant only 7 minutes from my apartment and thought to give it a try. The food and drinks were definitely a 10/10. Unfortunately the customer service was so not the best. I waited almost 40 minutes for my appetizer and sushi roll to come out and they were sitting next to the sushi chefs for almost 15 minutes before they even got to me. Once my food came, I asked for extra eel sauce and spicy mayo and that took another 10-15 minutes as well. Bartender only checked on me when I called her over but yet checked on all the other customers multiples times during my stay. I spent 100$ on myself alone, while sitting at the bar to just get mediocre service. As far as coming here again.. not sure. Maybe I’ll order to go.

Excellent sushi - we'll be back. The rolls were large and tasty. The nigiri were maybe a little too large - hard to eat in one bite. Everything was delicious - the mackerel had a stronger flavor than I'm used to - salty and fishy. Perhaps that's just the particular part of the fish we got. The snow white tuna was buttery and delicious - I hadn't had that one before. I particularly appreciated the large selection of premium sakes. I had two that were excellent. My wife enjoyed her gin and tonic with house-made gin. Our server was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable about sushi. He made useful suggestions for selecting nigiri with a variety of textures and flavors.

I came here two hours before closing time on a Sunday and the food was still so delicious, the staff so professional and attentive. Shout out to Beckett at the bar and Madeline, the hostess with the mostest!

Yumi sushi rolls are no longer what it used to be. They skimped out on portion size and quality. They were known for their “big” sushi rolls but that is no longer the case. $35+ for a roll half the size not worth the money.

Brought my kids (elementary age) here because they’ve gotten really into sushi. Two of us kept it classic, but the specialty Winter Roll won all three votes for favorite!
Very disappointed. The rolls that we had with soft shell crab seemed to just have the fried shell with no meat inside or maybe just fryer batter either way really gross. First time not being able to finish a sushi roll also ruined our Valentine’s Day dinner.

Love this place and the food is always on point! Drinks are pretty strong and flavorful. My favorite dish is the Spicy Seafood Salad. If you have not tried it, GET IT. Amazingly good with a decent hint of spice 🙌 Never had a bad experience and I will be back 🫶

Solid sushi restaurant. Delicious food, I had the titanic roll… excellent. Can’t wait to come back. Beck was our incredible server - so attentive, cheerful, and hilarious! Made a great martini too.
