Chayhana N1 Uzbek Cuisin Reviews
Highly recommend! Great place to taste authentic Uzbek dishes, especially kebabs and soups.
We found this place by chance, and the food was so good! My only complaint is that some portions were smaller than they looked in the menu photos. The steamed manti photo showed eight pieces, but we got four, and the combo came with just one slice of bread instead of the full bread shown. Still, everything tasted great, and we really enjoyed our meal!
Delicious food and drinks!! We were too full to try a dessert so we’ll be sure to save room next time! We’re so happy this family owned restaurant is in Savage, and that we get to try Uzbek food near our home :)
Also, the decor is amazing!!

Chayhana N1 Uzbek Cuisin is a family owned restaurant in Savage serving Uzbek food. The food is delicious, and the plov is the star: tender meat, perfectly seasoned rice, and slow-cooked depth made the traditional way. Guests can ask for meat with a little extra fat or without fat. The manti, samsa, beef shahlyk, lagman noodles, and medovik are also mentioned, and the bread straight from the oven was worth the trip on its own. The lagman noodles were clearly handmade, and the manti and samsa were fresh and full of flavor. Everything is halal, and portions are big enough to share. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, made guests feel like guests in their home, patient with questions, generous with recommendations, and quick to keep the tea coming. Servers are amazing and very attentive, and you can tell they really care about their customers. The decor is amazing. Some portions were smaller than they looked in the menu photos: the steamed manti photo showed eight pieces but four came, and the combo came with just one slice of bread instead of the full bread shown. Still, everything tasted great. Drinks are delicious too, and guests were too full to try a dessert, so they will save room next time. This is the number one Uzbek restaurant, and if you're anywhere near Savage or the Twin Cities and haven't tried Uzbek food yet, start here.
