A Tale of Steaks and Spirits at Whiskey Inferno
During our weekend escape to the metro area for the Renaissance Festival, my family and friends—nine of us in all—ventured to Savage, to dine at the much-anticipated Whiskey Inferno Meat House & Craft Bar. As an aficionado of ribeyes, having sampled them across the nation, I was eager to see how this establishment would stack up.

Loved this place! Great bartenders and food is amazing however there is a woman that sits at end of the bar EVERY time we are there with a computer and pile of books talking LOUDLY and swearing. She ruins the mood of a great whiskey atmosphere every single time we are at the bar. Sadly we will not be back.

Whiskey Inferno Meat House & Craft Bar offers a great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The restaurant boasts an impressive whiskey wall, and their whiskey menu may impress even the most seasoned whiskey enthusiasts. It is a testament to a clever design team that transformed a former Applebee's into a unique space that feels unrecognizable. Friendly and efficient service, easy access, and a well-run establishment make it a spot worth supporting.
The food is delicious, and while it can be pricey, the portions are generous, providing great value. They serve oysters, and while the first order had some issues, the restaurant made it right. Recommendations include the brisket, which is noted for its hearty smoke, along with mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and cheese curds. The Brisket Tater Kegs are also highly praised, especially during Happy Hour. The whiskey selection is vast, and customers are advised to plan for a ride home to fully enjoy the experience. The atmosphere is generally good, though some customers found the music to be strange.
Vegetarian options are limited, but the combination plates are great for sharing. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is accessible for those with dietary restrictions, children, and wheelchair users. Customers have noted that the drink menu is extensive, with happy hour options available, and many express a desire to return for both drinks and meals.
