“Been to a lot of different Leeann Chin locations. This was the best. I try to go there when I can. The manager is very kind fast and polite. The food is always perfect. The other locations are not as careful with the food. Some locations over salt, over sauce or undercook/over cook the rice and chicken. I will go back to this location. Hopefully the constuction will be done soon!?“

“I had the Thai BBQ Chicken (Gai Yang) today. It was freaking delicious. Tons of flavor, it was chicken thigh which was cooked properly with skin on, well marinated. The sauce had a lot of heat and some fish notes, only down side was the rice was a little dry, but other than that, I will be back. Please support this place, they are unique for DT and do a great job. Order as the kiosk at the entrance but I'm sure if you had questions they would be happy to ask them behind the counter.“

The ambiance in there is mad cute perfect place for an impromptu dinner date in my opinion. Only drawback is I wished that the rice had a slightly larger portion & it felt a lil too expensive for the amount of food. Other than that the waitress was so sweet & gave excellent service as well as menu recommendations. I can’t for the life of me remember her name & it’s bothering me now. “I loved my dinner! I got the tteokbokki with bulgogi special. The sauce was absolutely killer! Lots of good umami flavor. It was the star of the dish and a grwat first taste of tteokbokki. I thought that I'd never get to try it, as most times the sauce is spicy, but this version was savory. The beef was fine, nothing too special, but clearly it was needed to make the sauce so good. The cheese melted on top was also great! My server was attentive and refilled my water frequently. I'll need to come back and try some of the other dishes!“

“So so good & really fresh! We ordered takeout and it was so good that we had to go in-person the same week for a birthday. The food was so on point and beautifully plated. It tasted high end, but with more decent prices. Polite staff and kid friendly. Spice levels were adjustable. The pad thai noodles were smooth & flavorful. I'm not sure what kind of noodles or sauce they used, but the noodles were never dry, even when we had take out, it was amazingly smooth and perfectly soft. The pad thai & beef laab were my favorites. Everything we had was really good, fresh & packed with flavor.“

I like that most of the dishes include stir-fried veggies mixed in, and they are big cuts of fresh vegetables and retain some crispness. No slimy frozen veg! The stir-fried vegetables are my favorite, and includes tofu. They load you up with nice big portions, too. And the egg rolls are the best in the skyway!“

It was here quickly, the sashimi was of exceptional quality (very fresh, fatty, melt in your mouth - I eat a lot of raw fish and am pretty picky about freshness) and the roll was delicious and beautiful. I loved the vegetable lomein, the fried rice was delicious as well, along with the wontons (and I did order two pork egg rolls on the side not pictured.) I loved all of it! My husband and I can’t seem to find similar food close to our China Restaurant in Roseville but this is much closer to home and tasted similar in my opinion. YUM. Get it. I’ll def order again! I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food but this was so close to what I’m used to ordering for years and years!! I’d order everything listed again. Check them out.“

“A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“

“I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

Parking: Parking can be chaotic especially on weekends which is when I have experienced trouble.“

“Their thai boat for me wasn't good they tasted like package noodles. What was great and probably the best in MN to me is their raw larb. They use real pepper, not dry pepper, not chili flakes, real authentic cayenne pepper. 1 out of 5 places I've been to will use real pepper and not just that, they put mint leaves and lemon grass also. A lot of places just throw in cilantro and green onion, maybe red onion TOO. Their lao papaya is good, full of flavor and spice if you ask for it. I would say 4.5/5 overall as my main interest was their thai boat which wasn't for me. Service was great too.“
