“My wife and I have been to La Mesa a handful of times and have never been disappointed( including our second date, its a great date spot). La mesa is a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood with a great outdoor space in the summer. In my opinion, they have some of the best pizza in the city The corn pizza is my favorite and the weekly special last week was slow roasted pork and chimichurri sauce which was delicious. Great place, good service, and nice atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun date night or something different than a bar and grill. I just recommend to a co worker and she really enjoyed it!“

“Food was excellent ! Prices were a little high but feel it’s 100000% justified considering every single thing is hand made. All the sauces, salsas, tortillas, etc. Had carnitas gorditas that were so light and airy, and red enchiladas with proper homemade sauce. Will definitely be back.

“service is bit slow . but understandable and makes up with quality of food. no questions asked. worth the wait.only thing negative is they dont accept Discover or Amex cards. which i dont understand y. but food is great. deff recommend. jus bring cash. ?“
