Ina buena comida exelente atención al cliente
I didn’t eat here, but I want to say that the people saying the food lacks flavor may have the wrong expectations about what most South American flavor profile is like (with exceptions), Ecuadorian food mostly especially from the Sierra as opposed to the coast of Ecuador, mildly seasons the food generally, like a lot of Latin american countries, if you want a bolder dish you can go somewhere that serves “encebollado” the national dish which is from the coast...read full review
Walked in on on Tuesday evening to this nice quiet equador restaurant. We were greeted immediately and our orders were taken. Only about a 10 minute wait to get our food.
I had chicken and steak tacos and empanadas. Both were very good a full of flavors. The green sauce with the empanadas was absolutely amazing. Thanks for the great service and quick food before the NE parade.

Sabor Cuencano NE is a small, popular Ecuadorian restaurant in Northeast Minneapolis. The reviews indicate mixed experiences - the food is generally well-cooked but can be bland, and the service can be unfriendly. Customers have enjoyed dishes like Hornados (a plate of carnitas, white corn or rice, small salad, and llipingacho), which are described as tasty and quickly served. However, other dishes like Motepillo (hominy and eggs) have been less impressive. The restaurant's accessibility is limited, with a 2-inch step and a door that must be opened and closed upon entry. Overall, Sabor Cuencano NE seems to offer a solid, if uneven, Ecuadorian dining experience in the neighborhood.
