This local business is such a gem! I have no interest in ordering Mexican from any other restaurant. They deliver via Toast, serve (delicious) breakfast all-day, the guacamole is fresh and orders of chips and salsa are generous (unlike several other local restaurants), the pozole is at least 2 full meals with a complete side of tortillas and veg, my picky eater loves the quesadillas and quesabirras and taco bowl, the mole is complex, there’s a variety of homemade salsas for every taste, there are 2 types of beans for sides, and despite ordering multiple times - we have not had a dish that was disappointing. This place is a crowd pleaser for all of my different family members’ tastes - Highly recommend. Will definitely order or take my extended family out to La Villita when they visit.

Dietary restrictions: There is an entire gluten-free menu and lots of easy to identify vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: Low-stress environment, high-chairs available, plenty of room, and my daughter got to fill her own soda drink!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is ample room to move around, no steps, and the dining room can easily accommodate maneuverability of assistive devices.

Would do it again. Burrito as well as costillas de res were very flavorful. The torta looked great.

Try the salas. Skip the MN mild and go for the spicy ones.

New business in the Old Catrina's location. The owners are very receptive to customers concerns. A customer felt the Enchilada lunch special was to little food for price so the owner added another Enchilada to special. I feel if they lower the lunch price for two Enchiladas plate and offer a third one for higher price it would be a better idea. Also its better to let the restaurant know when you are still there instead of posting after the fact. I enjoyed the Enchiladas because they were folded instead of rolled, which made them a little crisper. I always check a place by their Tamales to get and idea of quality. The chicken Tamale was a good size but sweeter then I am use to. I told the owner who was surprised but appreciated the comment. I ordered the lunch Chips with Guacamole which was a decent price for the amount of chips and size of Guacamole bowl. All together I liked the food and atmosphere for a little place. Reminded me of Nacho's Mexican Grill in Hopkins that is a from scratch restaurant. I would recommend trying out La Villita Taqueria when in the area.

The food portion are too small (for example rice, they are really cheap with it)
They charge extra for chips, in any other restaurant those are complimentary. For the prices you get more in any other restaurant.

I got the quesabirria tacos! The meat was intensely flavorful! The cheese leaked out the sides during it melting creating a delicious cheese crust all around the tacos. They have a salsa bar and the spicy salsas are actually spicy!! A very pleasant surprise!! The only downside was the price, a little high compared to other places. But the food was amazing! The lady taking my order was so patient with me, got me a glass of ice for my Jarritos and even said she would clean up after I was done. It made me feel so good just being there and I really hope this place thrives! They deserve it!!!

When I saw 5.0 rating, I became very skeptical.
5.0 for a Buritto in Minnesota!? I had to try it and see for myself. I have to begrudgingly agree: they deserve the rating.
The restaurant itself is very nice, small but in a good way. The Buritto its self isn’t the biggest or anything but
The quality. Each bite was more enjoyable than the last. Lots of flavor without adding any sauce.
Even the tortilla is impressive: is crispy on the outside but not overdone. Inside the Buritto is well balanced and feels intentional rather than just slopped together.
The chips are a nice break, even without salsa/pico/guac.
Lastly the service has been great. They have great weekly specials.
I had to go back to try it again to see if it was a fluke.
Just as good and the Buritto is the same high quality. Genuinely impressive. I highly recommend them.
