“The food here is absolutely outstanding. It’s a hidden gem in the area. Best food by far in Aitkin County. I can’t stress enough how good the food is. My husband always gets the meat hammer sandwich. Last night I tried the special which was a sirloin steak and shrimp with au gratin potatoes and mixed veggies. In the fall they had a special Oktoberfest menu which was really fun. I had the cabbage rolls and they tasted like ones I had in Germany. The food is very affordable priced for the quality”

“Nice, small town bar with my favorite bartenders in the area. Always friendly, patient and understanding. I’d recommend stopping for a few on your way to the cabin or if your out and about on a weekend with friends. Buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite if your hungry.”

“Fun place! Came for a nightcap and stayed for a couple! Located on beautiful Lake Minnewawa, huge place that has awesome food and great drinks. Bellied up to the long bar and fit right with the locals. Just had drinks but def will be back!”
