Schoony's Malt Shop and Pizzeria

Good service and delicious ice cream

Disappointed I went yesterday 7/5/26 around 2 PM or so. It was my first time here I asked for a sample the young guy working said that they were not doing samples that day yet there were sample spoons on the floor ended up getting an ice cream I didn’t like customer service was not very good. The staff working definitely was not that kind. I’m not sure if they had a bad day or what was going on. Always wanted to check out this place and was disappointed from the Customer Service I received. I’m also confused is there only certain days that the staff can give out a sample? I wasn’t asking for a bunch of samples as I asked for one sample as I am older.

Schoony's Malt Shop and Pizzeria is a solid choice in Taylors Falls. The staff were helpful and pointed me right to what I wanted. Good selection and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend it and I'll be back for sure.

LOVED the aesthetic. Pinball machines were fun, and the ice cream wasn't too shabby either. I would definitely stop by this place if you're in the area.

The smell, the music and the arcade machines brings me back to my childhood. Small details like the vinyl on a vintage receiver/ amp made me very happy.

2 very grainy malts. The chocolate syrup in the ice-cream wasnt even mixed properly. The few bites i had was like eating sand and chocolate syrup. What a waste of $20. Vanilla icecream and hersheys chocolate syrup IS NOT chocolate ice cream

Stopped in here for ice cream, weather was beautiful outside. The owner is very nice cute shop and restaurant has pizza I guess as well, was a beautiful day outside yesterday. Lots of neat stuff to do and buy in the shop.

This place is so small town quaint and filled with amazing nostalgia! You step into an early 1920's malt shoppe. The staff were so friendly and funny! I was looking around the entire we were there. Amazing selection of ice cream as well and old time candies. Plus pinball machines that will take ya back to the 80's and 90's. Can't wait to go back and see more!!
