Ty had the shrimp Alfredo and It said it was spot on.. burgers are huge and juicy, and Ed had the beef tip skillet and thought it was great as well… 5 stars always!!!! “Wonderful st. Patrick’s Day party with live music by Steve and Irish bagpiper! Homemade corn beef, cabbage, mashed potatoes, carrots, and fresh bread. The food is always delicious here. Karen cooks the corn beef and the corn beef sandwiches are always delicious. Also love the fried potatoes. They also have daily specials. Thank you, Jake and Karen for another wonderful time!”

“Choosing Danzinger Vineyards for our wedding was the BEST decision we could have ever made! We got married there last July and couldn’t have imagined our day anywhere else. We were planning from out of state with no local family nearby (from Des Moines, IA and SE WI) and everything came together perfectly, even the smallest details! Paul and Madison were absolutely wonderful to work with and great communicators. There had been a wedding the night before and we were amazed at the quick turnaround — Madison handled it like a pro. Everything was ready for us to set up the next day!

A sweet personal touch: my husband spent the evening looking for a whiskey cup for his old fashioned (we managed to forget one and he wanted one instead of a plastic one) and Paul and Madison not only went and got him one, but they ordered some for future couples and guests too. They are amazingly responsive and genuinely care about every couple that had their wedding there, which is so incredibly special.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving — many said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever attended, and everyone loved the Alma/Wabasha area and staying at small rental properties so close to everyone else in Alma. It was truly our dream wedding and we wouldn't change a thing!”

“The size states 14 inch for a large. Nope, not true, just about 10 inches. The pizza is slimy and gooey, absolutely disgusting. Save your money, will never purchase again. I do not recommend this pizza.🤮”

“Everything was great! The saloon is cozy and extremely clean and comfortable. Padded barstools - with backs- were an awesome surprise. The menu was diverse without being overwhelming and the prices were decent. We had the Philly sandwich and Philly wrap. Both were excellent. Our server was really nice and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.”

The food is great, the staff is super friendly, and the whole place is always clean and well-kept. “They have great pizza. We don't get anything else. Try the taco pizza for something different and really good. We are from Chicago and it's darn hard to find pizza that's actually worth calling pizza.”

“Our waitress Ashley was outstanding. Our meals were outstanding. Food was out at a reasonable rate. Overall cost of the meals were great while dinner came with two huge walleye fillets bloody Marys were good. Definitely a five-star restaurant. We will come back again if we get in the area.”

“Well the silver star is our favorite place to. Drive 14 miles to get there. We went there last night. Most of the good burgers are gone, chips and salsa are right out of a bag now. Burger buns changed to store type buns. Fries changed also. Not as good. Waiter was very nice. I asked what happened to the John Wayne burger he said it is gone. I asked if the had the John Wayne sauce. He said they did not. Kind of disappointed but when our burgers came he said he whipped me up a batch of John Wayne sauce. Still a nice place to go but the food is not the same. Too bad as I raved about this place to all. Had 3 star picked out but gave them a four star for service. Bring back the John Wayne burger guys.”
