Ty had the shrimp Alfredo and It said it was spot on.. burgers are huge and juicy, and Ed had the beef tip skillet and thought it was great as well… 5 stars always!!!! “From the moment we first toured The Overlook at Danzinger Vineyards, we knew we’d found the place we would say yes to forever at. Paul and Madison made our wedding day beyond anything we could have imagined. They handled every behind the scenes detail with such grace so we could relax and be fully present on our big day.
They allowed us to make our day as much like us as possible, it was truly such a gift and honor to have our wedding here.

We booked in October 2024 and married in May 2026, and it was incredible to see how much love and intentionality they’ve poured into the venue over that time period. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to be both beautiful and practical for their couples. Throughout the day they checked in often but never intruded, anticipating our needs before we even knew we had them. They made sure the pavilion temperature was perfectly comfortable for us. They did all the little things that made such a huge difference.

Paul and Madison went above and beyond in ways big and small, and their kindness, professionalism, and joyful spirits made our day feel effortless and deeply meaningful. We are forever grateful to them for giving us such a perfect, unforgettable wedding. We cant wait to come back for each anniversary and spend time there again! If you’re considering a wedding at The Overlook at Danzinger Vineyards, this is the place, everything you could dream about. Bonus that Paul and Madison are everything you hope for and more.

“Wonderful st. Patrick’s Day party with live music by Steve and Irish bagpiper! Homemade corn beef, cabbage, mashed potatoes, carrots, and fresh bread. The food is always delicious here. Karen cooks the corn beef and the corn beef sandwiches are always delicious. Also love the fried potatoes. They also have daily specials. Thank you, Jake and Karen for another wonderful time!”

“The size states 14 inch for a large. Nope, not true, just about 10 inches. The pizza is slimy and gooey, absolutely disgusting. Save your money, will never purchase again. I do not recommend this pizza.🤮”

“They have great pizza. We don't get anything else. Try the taco pizza for something different and really good. We are from Chicago and it's darn hard to find pizza that's actually worth calling pizza.”

“Our waitress Ashley was outstanding. Our meals were outstanding. Food was out at a reasonable rate. Overall cost of the meals were great while dinner came with two huge walleye fillets bloody Marys were good. Definitely a five-star restaurant. We will come back again if we get in the area.”

The food is great, the staff is super friendly, and the whole place is always clean and well-kept. “Well the silver star is our favorite place to. Drive 14 miles to get there. We went there last night. Most of the good burgers are gone, chips and salsa are right out of a bag now. Burger buns changed to store type buns. Fries changed also. Not as good. Waiter was very nice. I asked what happened to the John Wayne burger he said it is gone. I asked if the had the John Wayne sauce. He said they did not. Kind of disappointed but when our burgers came he said he whipped me up a batch of John Wayne sauce. Still a nice place to go but the food is not the same. Too bad as I raved about this place to all. Had 3 star picked out but gave them a four star for service. Bring back the John Wayne burger guys.”
