The Winery at Sovereign Estate offers a surprisingly excellent wine selection, with most grapes grown onsite. The locally grown grapes were invented by the University of Minnesota, moving beyond the traditional sweet wines of the Midwest. While the wine offerings may not rival renowned wineries, the venue itself is adorable, providing a delightful setting for a summer day or evening bonfire. The grounds feature a beautiful light display, festive music, and hot beverages, creating a great entertainment experience. Visitors can rent heated outdoor cabanas and take a trolley tour of the property for additional fees. The winery is especially known for its genuine display of the Christmas manger scene, complemented by Christian music, delighting families and children alike.
