“This restaurant is definitely family friendly, with great food consisting of fresh fruits and veggies (including mushrooms & blueberries), great server - Laura!, an amazing manager- Dane (young, but definitely his calling!!) and wonderful setting/atmosphere!!! “As I was traveling late I arrived after the kitchen had closed. The owner offered me part of a meal she was having and to make a nice salad. The chicken was great. Dewey behind the bar made a great recommendation for a Mango infused tap beer. Delicious! They are great ambassadors for the Red Wing hospitality community. It was so nice to be treated as a regular. I will be back to sample both the food and Dewey’s recommendations. Thank you.”

“If you're going to this American Legion up in Walker after 1:00 and are hungry, forget about it and go to a restaurant as they have no food until later. But their drinks will kick your butt and it's always a fun time at the American Legion.
They do have pretty good bar food after 5:00 p.m.

“Great place to chill and sip wine and/or nibble on tasty bites from a charcuterie board. Excellent, friendly service. Mellow back room with comfy chairs, sofas, and tables. A nice selection of wines by the glass, some flights for tasting several in one visit. Also some more bottles on the rack in the back room if you don't see something you like on the menu. Our favorite activity when visiting Walker. If you like or love wine, check it out.”

“Table for 5 (outside seating). I had the 1/2 rack ribs which were fall off the bone delicious. We also had the coconut shrimp appetizer.. Everyone's food (and adult beverages) was/were excellent.”

“The atmosphere here is awesome and when they have live music it’s a great venue. Sitting around the boat and drinking a cocktail or two or an ice cold beer. Service is always great even with limited help these days. The food is excellent and comes from the restaurant next door. Excellent and fun and always entertaining at the Boathouse Bar!!”

The elements of the dish are presented in a way that’s more rustic than what you might be used to but eat it and you’ll say it’s better then the last seven times you had eggs benny at other places. On top of it, the homemade Hash Browns are *somehow* simultaneously both crunchy and buttery as hell. How is there not a cardiologist in this town??!!”
