One waitress on duty the day after the 4th. Ownership should know better Especially on the fourth of july weekend. Took a hr to get our food. Cook just threw our food on the table And said nothing. Waitress was short. I ordered cod platter with baked potato, Texas toast. Came with no butter, Sour cream, Lemon, Or tartar sauce which I asked for. Shame on management!!! Service was unexcusable.

1st time I visited was memorial Day , but around 10pm to try their custom built pizzas . They make em' with many kinds of toppings. I had 2 meats & 3 other toppings not counting sauce or cheese. I had the thin crust as I just wanted the emphasis on the rest of what was offered. Anyhow - I picked up in 23 minutes & it was just very well what I needed , cuz I get tired of the stuff offered near the main fuel stops. As for the atmosphere, it seemed upbeat for the 7 or 8 minutes I was there . Mostly die hard basketball fans watching W.C. Finals - for the home state. Nicely lit , good variety of view screens. That's it. I will get back there - the pizza could have been ordered with more complexity than I wanted, but the sauce , cheese and everything made my little country drive an easy deal. The price is decent . 15.95. Balancing out the flavors , well mine was really quite good . Try their services when it ain't gonna be a crazy congested stretch to serve 6 or 7 dozen people . Good food on a mellow night !! I figure if I call a place, and ask if the kitchen is up at 9:30pm and they ask how the build what I crave , that means they are not over worked at the moment . Good courtesy from the folks I met .

Corner Bar is very comfortable and friendly and welcoming to us as it is our first time in Waterville. We stopped for a beer while bicycling through town. We had the cheeseburger daily special which was appropriate. We enjoyed a conversation with the patron sitting next to us at the bar.
