great food...excellent food and unique menu service is rushed and a bit pushy. Really unhappy about not being able to use the Open Table Reward card. Restaurant and servers need to figure this out...very disappointing and frustrating.

As always, great service, amazing food, and drinks. Really appreciate your non-alcoholic cocktails and wine. Thank you. Please bring back the burrata board - the burrata crostini is a poor substitute.

The food here is really good. We ordered the calamari and the sea bass skewers for apps. The calamari was good but portion was way too large for the 3 of us (never a bad thing, just would only order it again with a larger party). My parents really enjoyed the sea bass skewers. My dad loves the caesar salad with shrimp, and he claims it's the best caesar he's ever had! He really likes the quinoa they top the salad with. My mom really likes the steak sandwich. I ordered the carbonara and requested spaghetti instead of papardelle for the noodle which they accomodated. I thought the carbonara was amazing, and the spaghetti paired really well with the cream sauce! Hopefully, I can make that request again in the future because I am not a huge fan of wider noodles. My parents both tried my pasta and thought it was the best carbonara they've ever had. I disagree with some other reviewers on the portion sizes, I had two other people helping me with my pasta and could only finish 2/3 of it. The steak sandwich is plenty big, and my dad's order of shrimp to top the salad was a nice portion too. The margaritas here are good as well. Overall, great experience and great food!

Food was awesome. We went for brunch and the main dining room was fairly empty so it was quiet. I could see it getting pretty noisy when it gets busier. The main disappointment was that I'd made a reservation saying we were celebrating a 28th and a 60th birthday—but the hostess (who was also our waitress) didn't acknowledge that at all. She was nice but wasn't super attentive. Overall, a good experience and we will be back as the food was great. A bit pricy, but worth it for the food quality.

Food was very good and the service was excellent. We particularly liked the sea bass skewers, the poke tuna and the chicken pot pie.

Summer season .....server couldn't pronounce specials, chewed gum and brought drinks after appetizers. Been here many times but the service has decreased and the food by the time it got to the table well even that, no dressing for the salad?

Our waitress was a disaster. She started off by asking for drink orders before we were even seated and then promptly got them wrong. That was the last time she was prompt. 10 minutes later we got the drink situation righted then she wanted to leave before we could say we wanted starters. She was surprised we wanted to order. We got our Calamari which was good but the presentation was anemic. It was brought to us by a server and our waitress did not reappear until 20 minutes later until after the calamari was gone to take our dinner order which she was surprised again we were ready to place. Another 30 minutes later our food arrived. For 3 plates of fresh pasta that was a loooooooong time.It all looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The fresh pasta itself was very good the sauces were bland and thick. The Cabonora tasted to be fresh with a raw egg yolk on top was served WITH a white cream sauce. The whole point of the fresh egg is that IT makes the sauce. Don't worry the the white sauce dis not destroy the dish but the lake of salt and pepper, the over cooked pancetta and the frozen peas did. My Son had spaghetti and meatballs and he said his was OK. Not great praise. My husband had a Pappardelle pasta with chicken and sun dried tomatoes with the same bland white sauce I had. We dared not ask for red pepper flakes or fresh Parmesan neither which were offered for fear we would be kept waiting for something that would never come. We had to ask for refills 3 times. Which seam excessive - except the glasses were so full of ice there was no liquid in them. After we finished it took another20 minutes to get or bill.We did not order desert because almost 2 hours later we just wanted to be set free.

Love that this feels like a neighborhood family-owned spot, but unfortunately I had some of the worst scallops I have ever had. Will never order that there again. Appetizers (deviled eggs and calamari) were good however.

Our party of 4 was surprised at how busy The Lake Room was on a rainy, chilly Thursday evening! We soon found out why. The food and service were excellent. I especially recommend the calamari appetizer and the pistachio crusted halibut entree. I'm sure the steaks were great too, but I'm trying to cut down on red meat. The small Caesar salad would have been large enough to share with my wife. The Lake Room offered a nice selection of cocktails, beers, and wines. We'll be back.

Our party of four enjoyed a quiet dinner. Great service. 3 of our dinners really enjoyed the Chilean sea bass. The pasta carbonara was completely forgettable

We had a great meal last night at the Lake Room. The bar area was packed, but the dining room was less so (nice for noise). We shared appetizers (deviled eggs and chicken skewers) which were both excellent. Entrees were also very good - bone-in pork chop and shrimp and grits. Wednesdays are 1/2 off bottles of wine night, so we enjoyed an excellent red. Service was great. We love this place!

Food is good and it's nice to have a higher end place like this outside of the core urban area. It is, however, very expensive for this level of restaurant.

We arrived for our 12 Noon reservation and were seated promptly in the downstairs room. It's cozy, with a bar and although it was busy, it was so much quieter than the upstairs, so that was a plus. We spent nearly 2 and a half hours at The Lake Room today and had such a great time. We started with the Bacon & Eggs appetizer (Deviled Eggs), and each of us had a main course, 1 had a burger and two of us had an egg dish. Some cocktails, and a bottle of Loire Valley Sparkling Wine. Everything was amazing, and what we particularly appreciated, was the unhurried, relaxed meal. Service was impeccable without being cloying, and considering prices these days, the bill was super reasonable. Many thanks!

Easter brunch menu was delicious! With a large group and everyone loved their meals. Bloody Marys were delicious as well!

Having our adult family dinner here is always a great experience. The food and the service were fabulous and I would highly recommend this for date night as well.
