Blvd Tavern Reviews
Poor service and generic, forgettable food. Server had multiple opportunities to get the meal right, but failed to do so after several requests. Waited 30+ minutes just to have our order taken. Glasses for our table were dirty (once we finally got them). Food was cold for some in our group while hot for others so who knows how long the cold food had been sitting out. Very disappointed - certainly won’t be going back.
Great place! I love drinks without ice.
Blvd Tavern in West St Paul is aweful! We received the worst service I’ve ever seen in MN from Emily the bartender. Rude, hostile, unprofessional. I’ve been in here many times and always had great service from other staff, especially Devan.
The manager came over and apologized for her behavior. She admitted her attitude and actions had created other complaints including a full blown altercation with another customer earlier in the day!

Blvd Tavern offers a mixed dining experience, with both positive and negative reviews. The food is generally described as "okay," with decent portions, and the outdoor patio is a highlight. Many customers enjoy the fun atmosphere, especially during happy hour when the place is pleasantly busy. The rib special is generous enough to serve 3-4 people, making it good value for money. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with lots of parking and plenty of table space. The service quality can vary; some staff members, like Maritza and Alyssa, receive high praise for their amazing service, while others may be inattentive. The small women's bathroom stall is noted as an issue. The beer selection is decent, and there are plenty of TVs to watch sports. While some guests appreciate the food, which includes items like chicken wings, pizza, nachos, and patty melts, others have noted that the music can be too loud. Overall, the restaurant seems to provide a mediocre experience, but visits can be more enjoyable depending on the staff working during the customer's visit, and it can serve as a good venue for events.
