“Saturday lunch is when I've been here. The food is quite good and the service is great as always. I've done the Reuben in the past,but this year I've been trying California burgers everywhere. It was pretty good, but beware, it's big. It was big enough that I should have asked for a bigger knife to cut it in half. I liked it and it's almost certain I'll have it next time.“

Great atmosphere , your all time neighborhood gathering place, very clean ,especially the restrooms, I go there time and time again.if your ready to meet your friends or family, or go out alone it's a safe place to be ! 🤗“

“One of Saint Pauls' historic establishments located on W. 7th just south of downtown. The reuben sandwich was quite possibly one of the best I have ever had. Very tender and even good to eat the next day. We sat out in the covered patio area with a retractable roof for warmer days and we're perfectly comfortable the whole time. Prices were reasonable and the server was on point with everything we needed. Seasonal drinks were delicious! 5 out of 5 and would definitely visit again.“

When my friend and I visited town recently we went to the longfellow location as the university location was closed that day. This was just as great and honestly was probably a bit quieter too. “We wanted to try a new, non-chain bar. The drinks were great, excellent atmosphere. But here’s what really stood out. We had an unfortunate encounter with another patron saying sketchy stuff to us. The bartender (nice gal with blonde bun) stopped over and asked if everything was OK. It was very reassuring to have a staff member checking in, which doesn’t happen everywhere. Looking forward to going back! 🍻“

“When I eat I drink Bloody Mary's they just taste better with my food if I feel like a drink, let me tell you I had a very reasonable priced Bloody Mary and it was on Point I could taste everything in the drink a first for me and it had all the fixings as well, I appreciated that. They also have a place too eat Pop's and Son grill I ordered 4 wings and a brisket topped Baked potato I asked for my wings hard didn't get that but they tasted ok and the brisket was not a lot but also good I didn't bring my wings back because they seemed real busy they brought me someone else's food at first them my order and I appreciated Who I assume was Pop came and talked to his customer's checking on them and their food they gave us A 1 service I work in kitchen's and understand things happen sometimes it's how you react to the situation and after that matters the most and they gave the all. I will try them again because they food is good, and they fact they was busy, busy so that let me know a lil sum People like they food I was also asking people in the line about food and if they been here before and I got more yes than no and good food I heard ok Pop and Sons I'll be back..the bar also had karaoke A good time was had Thanks Cheers“

“There are very few restaurants that I really want eat at regularly, but Mississippi Pub is one of those. The consistency of the menu is part of that… I know that the wings will be crispy and hot. I know that the brunch items will be savory and plentiful. But the atmosphere is the other. This is NOT fast food! Come to enjoy a cocktail (or an excellent mocktail), the view of the river, and leisurely enjoy the experience. If you’re in a hurry, I’m sure there’s a fast food restaurant you can choose instead 😂“

Their Oak Room space was perfect for a group of 120ish people, event staff were extremely helpful in setting up food, drinks, and fun for our guests and took great care of us the night of. Highly recommend as both a neighborhood bar, and as a place to host an event of any size.“

I wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant within the Hilton, but was I ever surprised!\nI ordered the Seared New York Strip with fingerling potatoes, asparagus and broccoli, and it was PERFECT! The steak was cooked to order, with seasons that kept me (a definite salt person) from ruining it by putting salt on it! It didn't need it. \nThe wait staff were great, and so nice, even after I spilled my water all over the table and floor. I wish I could have sampled some of their wine to go with the steak, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. Honestly, the food didn't need it. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!“

“Stopped in at the world famous Stub n Herbs for lunch with my brother. No wait on a Friday afternoon for a table at lunch. Nicole our bartender did a great job and she makes a good ol fashioned. “Love the new space. Digital signage said burgers were $3 on Wednesdays. They were $4. Still tasty and a great deal, but update your sign. I sat for 10 minutes and watched the server take a picture of people at a table and chat with her friends. Never came near my high top table. I finally went to the bartender (very nice) who took my drink and food order. Server swung by 10 minutes later (20 minutes after I sat down). Told her I ordered from the bartender. She never stopped by after that. I was there for 45 minutes, saw her interact with her tables twice. Service was pretty scarce. 2 or 3 staff sitting in a booth. If the bartender hadn't been awesome, I would have left. Burger and onion rings were good.“
