“Friendly Staff and good drinks. The only thing I dislike is, I went there one time at 6am before work they were closed. Even though they say they open at 5:30am.The next time I go there, I asked one of the staff what time they open, she said that due to short staff sometimes they aren't open at the time it says on Google and to be safe to come at 7am. Which doesn't help me since I start work at that time. So it was a little disappointing that you don't know if you can rely on their times.Otherwise, any other time they are decent and make great drinks.“
“If you’re looking for the best hidden-in-plain-sight spot to meet, study, or just breathe for a minute, the Starbucks inside Kowalski’s in White Bear Lake delivers every single time.
The moment you walk in, you feel it—big open windows, tables overlooking the lake, and a calm vibe you won’t find at most coffee shops. It’s the kind of place where a warm drink hits different because you’re actually able to slow down and enjoy it.
And here’s the bonus that makes this Starbucks unbeatable: you can grab fresh meals right from Kowalski’s and sit down with friends as long as you like. Sandwiches, salads, soups—you name it. It’s basically a quiet little community hub wrapped inside a grocery store.
Bible study groups love this spot for a reason. Easy location. Plenty of space. Great atmosphere. You can spread out, talk, pray, open the Word, and never feel rushed.
Five stars. Every time.
If you’re in White Bear Lake and haven’t tried it—you’re missing out on one of the best meeting places in town.“
