Was my daughter's choice for lunch on our mini-vacay. Excellent hoagies -- warm, gooey cheese, flavorful, with soft bread. She enjoyed her berry smoothie too. Plenty of seating and good customer service.

Great cafe and coffee shop. Had the corned beef sandwich and German potato and sausage soup. Would recommend
I love the hoagies and soups! The cookies and rice Krispies are fantastic as well.

I never generally write reviews because I know how tough the industry can be as a former food service worker, but I was a bit disappointed during my visit today. I ordered a ham and cheese pita, which was great and exactly what I expected. I also ordered a hot chocolate that I was really looking forward to and never got it, even after I asked about it 15-20 minutes later. They had accidentally taken my table number when I got my food so I assumed it had gotten lost somewhere, which was fine, so I went up and asked about it. I was told that they would get it situated, so I waited a bit longer by the counter area and eventually sat back down after 5-10 minutes. An hour later and I still didn’t get it. I did end up leaving at this point, all previous visits have been great, but just disappointed this time.

Hands down my favorite place to eat whenever I visit Winona. Their sandwiches are beyond amazing, they’re flavorful and warm and overall the best I’ve ever had. If you find yourself driving near or in Winona, definitely check them out.

A napkin, a simple napkin, was the request...blond lady,working...gave me the evil-eye the entire time, I sat there. What a disqusting excuse for service. Bring your own napkins, if you are dining here.

The hot sandwiches here are AMAZING, and you get an incredible amount of food for the price!
They have counter service, and the staff were kind.
The vibes are curated well, and I wish I was visiting while a musician was playing! Although they did have pottery on display from a local artist.

This corner cafe has so much potential, but I felt they really missed the mark on a few key things. Their hot hoagies are just okay for the price. I expect a lot from a 10$ half sandwich and felt short-changed. The chili tasted like Hormel brand. (I'm 90% sure it was)
My wife's gluten-free hoagie would have been better if they had used sandwich bread instead of a burger bun. The brand they use O'dough makes an excellent one.
Charging 75 cents for a soda refill is very tacky, especially after I paid 3$ for the first one. The bathrooms were somewhat dirty and in need of remodeling. One upside was the manager's knowledge of allergens in their products.
I hope the proprietors step up their game because this place could be great with a little work.
