Backwater BBQ Reviews
High quality on every product they sell! We really can't even pick one favorite💕💕
We had Backwater BBQ cater our wedding and it was AMAZING! From our very first tasting to decide what we wanted, Lance was so easy to work with and gave us a little bit of everything so we could decide. I knew the food would be perfect and it was. I’m not even bias when I say that was the best wedding food I’ve ever had. We had brisket, pulled chicken, green beans, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. Plenty of leftovers too which I was NOT mad about. ☺️ Highly recommend!
We have been fans of Backwater BBQ since it opened so knew it was our go-to place for a family event this past weekend. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, and beans for an amazing dinner. Lance was very helpful to figure out how much to order and how to reheat it. Thank you for your help and delicious food!

Backwater BBQ is a local favorite, offering deliciously smoked meats and comforting sides. Their friendly staff provides helpful service, even accommodating special requests, such as treats for furry friends. The menu features tender and moist barbecue options, including ribs and pulled pork, served with sides like beans, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Customers can enjoy their meals in a cozy strip mall location. The restaurant is also known for catering parties and events, with the food and service being highly praised. Many visitors enjoy their brisket, which is soaked in juice and full of flavor, with a profile that stands out from competitors.
The restaurant is hidden in a dying mall, but it is not to be missed. The staff is pleasant and helpful, guiding customers through their choices. While the drinks are limited to bottled water and cooler options, the food is the star. The chicken and brisket are moist and flavorful, especially when paired with the sweet and spicy sauce. The pickled items and green beans may not be the standouts, but the buns are fresh and soft, and the kicked-up beans are recommended. Customers have also praised the mac and cheese and suggest the restaurant consider bottling and selling the sauce.
The restaurant's catering services have also received high praise, with a customer stating that the food served at their wedding was the best they had ever had. The catering menu included brisket, pulled chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, and coleslaw, with plenty of leftovers.
