The sushi is very good. The ramen is pretty good. The food comes out when it is ready which is fine for my family, but may be a challenge for others. Good & polite service.

Haiku was a new experience for us. I do not like soup and never have jumped on the Ramen craze... I couldn't get my head past Maruchan or Nissin! But, we decided to try a ramen restaurant. I'm glad we did.
I ordered the chicken bun app-delicous! My wife got an octopus app. It was so-so. The inside was really doughy and filled with octopus, of course. It probably could have been fried longer, so the dough was more thoroughly cooked with a crispy exterior. The sushi my daughter ordered was typical fare. The ramen was great! I got shredded pork belly ramen, which was actually ground pork belly, but it had me licking the bowl clean! My wife got regular pork belly ramen, which was also good. My daughter also loved hers.
The service was fantastic, and the actual restaurant was nice for a little strip mall. We will definitely be going back again.

I got the spicy ramen and my friend got a couple rolls of sushi! Most of the menu is affordable but the special rolls are much more expensive.
My ramen was perfectly seasoned (better than other locations I've had)! My friend enjoyed her sushi as well.

Pleasant ambiance/decor, very clean & well lit establishment. Service was minimal, but satisfactory. Edemame & Pork bun were both enjoyable. The stir fry + 2 types of ramen we ordered were all just ok. Not bad, but just kinda bland & not my personal preference. Sadly, everyone in our group agreed the sushi rolls were just not it - at least for us. However, just because we did not enjoy our food, does not mean it's not worth a try - they have a rather extensive & varied menu. Since this was our first visit, & we only tried 7 items out of a menu the size of a book, it would be unfair to judge this establishments quality based on our one experience & small sampling of the menu. Will be back to again, so we can give 6 or 7 different dishs a try!

The food was ok, nothing too crazy. I like the bao buns. The sushi is nothing special. It didn't feel fresh. Service was weird. The waiter was acting as if she had many tables to serve but only had two. Rushing us for no reason.

Came in ordered the beef ramen. It was delicious but the ramen was definitely a bit chewy for my taste. Service wasn't above and beyond but it was good/to be expected. I got seated immediately and got my order within 3 minutes (I know I was dining alone but that's a little odd, nothing seemed wrong so no complaints but just a note). The experience was good. The price was a bit spendy, all I ordered was the 1 beef ramen as I said earlier and it cost $16.30, so definitely keep that in mind. I'll be back again and will adjust my review/rating on future experiences but that's partially because I live so close. A few warnings, keep in mind I'm not adding or removing stars because of this it's just a heads up for people who are similar to me. I'm a pretty big guy and the chairs were piercing my sides, which was less than comfortable but hey that's what I get for being unhealthy. The temperature was a bit chilly inside but I like it hot so it will be fine for most.
All in all if you like ramen and you don't mind the price point I'd say give it ago it was very tasty.

Parking: Massive parking lot- may have to walk a bit as it shares parking with several other stores
I'm disappointed in the Unagidon. It looks completely different from their website. For $25, you would expect thick pieces of Unagi like how real Japanese do. Instead what you get is slices of unagi and TOO MUCH RICE. I'm Asian and could only finish half the rice. Eck.
As for the atmosphere, it could be better. Izakaya should feel homey. Haiku feels more like a modern restaurant. I joked to my gf that we were eating off the floor because the tabletops match the floor. Also, the music playing was Chinese... I suggest playing Japanese songs, instrumental music, or maybe American. :)
On the bright side, the yakitori was great. The ramen was decent. Loved the chicken wings!

Everything about this place is amazing! The employees are so kind, and always recognize my family when we walk in. The food is so so good! The atmosphere is so calm and inviting. Great place to be!
I went to Haiku today for the first time and it was a great experience. The wait staff was attentive, and the food was delicious. My party shared the Salmon Tataki, Tuna Tataki, Gyoza, and Edamame and then we all ordered a sushi order of some sort. I had the Sashimi Entree, and everything was perfect except the whitetail had a slightly odd texture that I will assume was an anomaly because everything else was perfect.
