“We couldn't believe how great this little spot is. We stumbled onto it at 5am and had the biggest most tasty breakfast we've had in a very long time. The people are friendly, they have lots of regulars and they even have those gaming machines, I even won $80!! Plus the best part is they are open 24/7 and serve more than just breakfast, definitely worth a visit here.“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“We got seated promptly and our waitress was very attentive. We did not order any appetizers, but the drinks were great. They had a signature cocktail of the evening since it was Valentine's Day weekend. I got the special for the evening. 14oz bone in filet and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. The potatoes and asparagus were delicious also. My wife for the steak and fries. Nice ribeye and loads of fries. She also said that s very good. We got got a desert. They were nice and decadent and rich in flavor. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend recommend this place again. Thanks for making our evening special!“

“Aug 11 about 9:30 am. What a wonderful brunch spot. It’s between two sections of a shopping center and at a hair raising intersection but the breezeway was perfect on a summer day. Friendly staff, interesting menu, and a quick correction to an erroneously executed special request. We all ordered a different dish but all 5 of us were happy with the presentation and flavor. And no side-eye for lingering. Wish I didn’t live 300 miles away-I’d definitely come back!!!“

Lvg back to Orlando mid day, wanted something unique to St. Louis and the great reviews on this place did not disappoint!

Sat at the bar and immediately saw plates of food that was like out of a commercial! I cld see the kitchen team laying the smack down with a system that is on point every step of the way!

I asked for a special order of a biscuit, chicken fried chicken, two eggs over medium and gravy with a side of grits. Wifey did the corn beef hash. I can’t stand when food comes flying out and this was well worth the reasonable wait! The prices are also super fair! I took pics of a couple other plates cmg out of the kitchen!

Get after this place…also helped to get here early, it’s popular for a reason peeps!

There are better breakfast places out there. That said, FW is a solid participant in the sit-down breakfast/brunch market and does make pretty consistent food across all of their locations that I've visited with this one being no exception.

Had breakfast with the kid the other day. She ordered the Eggs Benedict which showed up on ciabatta instead of English muffins. I had the fruit crepes with yogurt and granola which are no longer on the menu but can be whipped-up if you ask nicely. I asked nicely as I appreciate the illusion of eating healthily.

For some reason, the food auction followed by the drop & run has become incredibly popular in restaurants like FW these days. Personally, I would prefer that my server deliver our food and pause for a minute to see if there's anything missing or if we have any requests.“

“(Cross-posted to yelp) I literally chose this place based on the pics of their scrambled eggs and the fact that out of the whole menu, my favorite food is the only item to carry Nadine's name--the corned beef hash. If an owner is gonna put their own name on a dish, you know it's gonna be good! I had a 3 hour drive home and all I could think about was how eating that hash was A Moment. Order it. ORDER IT. ^.^ The diner was super chill, with a generally calm and pleasant vibe. Nadine herself took care of us, and had our coffee and water to us in seconds. The wait for our order was nothing to speak of at all, and they don't keep "checking in" with you--LOVE that. All in all......I told my husband we're making it a tradition to stop there whenever we're in the city. 100/100.“

“When people ask why I go to Waffle house I say Josh. When people ask why I live my life I say Josh. This man does everything around here. He is the main figurehead for Waffle house. He is a very Jolly man (not referring Santa Clause). Waffle was very delicious. He will serve your food fast and make you happy in every way! He has a very nice trimmed beard. “We love to spend time in Ballpark Village when we go to a game! We walk, shop, dine, and really enjoy the experience. Our visit the other day was phenomenal!! We went to Fielders Choice to get a drink, and the salted Caramel was to die for!! While walking we decided to go back for a snack before the game because the place is adorable, the staff are so friendly, and their ice cream (I indulged in a waffle come that was so huge, and hubby had a sundae that looked amazing!) was creamy and tasty! I will definitely be back!! What a great addition to the Village!“
