The food is very good but they need to update their online ordering information. When you try to order online, as directed by the message when you call the restaurant, and order through the site prompts the app says it isn't taking orders at this time and when we called the restaurant again they hung up on us when we asked to make an order for pick up. Yes, weekends are ridiculously busy.
I love the service, atmosphere, and decor. I especially love the fact that they use local food and have vegan friendly options. We decided to visit Rooster ourselves because we've heard good things about it. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was not good at all. My pancake was dry along with the breakfast burrito, and the salsa verde that came with the burrito was extremely bitter. The chicken sausage was overcooked and tough like chicken jerkey(literally). Today was our very first time dining at Rooster South Grand. The food was very good but what was even more delightful was our waitress. She was just wonderful. Very nice and pleasant...knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations on what we should order. We will definitely return.
