Found Rooster on Eater online magazine. Fortune shined a light on my wife and I. Entered the cavernous one room dining hall, with tables lined in 3 long rows. 90s music is recognizable at a comfortable level. Then the food which was on point and did not disappoint. Had the lemoncurd blueberry crepe as well as the roasted apple crepe. Both infused with flavor and sweetness. Added a side of bacon. Enjoyed the chicken sausage scramble as well. Coffee was hot and tasty. Highly recommend for brunch!!

The food is very good but they need to update their online ordering information. When you try to order online, as directed by the message when you call the restaurant, and order through the site prompts the app says it isn't taking orders at this time and when we called the restaurant again they hung up on us when we asked to make an order for pick up. Yes, weekends are ridiculously busy.

Maybe because it was a busy brunch but the food was awful. We had been once before and it was better but not worth the price. We went on a weekday the first time so this might be better. Skip the brunch burger. It was absolutely terrible. The meat was cooked till it was rubber and there was no seasoning on it. Two small slivers of onion and no other toppings. The saving grace was the egg but even then.. it was horrible. I had to keep drinking water to get is down because it was so dry. I paid $15 and I was going to get my protein even it if was gag worthy. Our sever was incredible and was the only saving grace.Overall if you are looking for a brunch spot go elsewhere. Price plus subpar food. It's worth skipping this spot

I love the service, atmosphere, and decor. I especially love the fact that they use local food and have vegan friendly options. We decided to visit Rooster ourselves because we've heard good things about it. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was not good at all. My pancake was dry along with the breakfast burrito, and the salsa verde that came with the burrito was extremely bitter. The chicken sausage was overcooked and tough like chicken jerkey(literally). The breakfast potatoes have absolutely no flavor. I really wanted to like it. Especially because we had a $50 bill for food that we both didn't like. Maybe it was just an off day for the kitchen. Everyone has different taste buds, so please give this establishment a try, and hopefully, you'll like it more than we did.

Best way to explain how satisfied I was... my bill was $80... I left an $80 tip to be split between hostess, waiter, busses, and cook. Will definitely be back.Love the common table idea. Get people off their phones and back to community and communicating with each other!!!

We ordered cappuccino , turkish iced coffee and vailla iced latte. The coffee was bland. I asked the server for sugar free syrups to put in the coffee. He forgot to ask the first time and put in the order of the cappuccino without confirming. When asked again, he brought me sugar free maple syrup. For food, my friend and I had order the grilled cheese sandwich. According to the menu the sandwich had pesto, cheese, arugula. When we got the food, my sandwich has some cheese very little pesto and no arugula. My friend had bacon bits in her sandwich and no arugula. After confrontation, the waiter only offered apologies. We had to ask for a compensation as she could not finish her food.Pretty disappointed with the place. Would not consider going again.

The food is so bland and boring. We ordered three different items to share and all of it tasted the same, bland and unseasoned. Waste of money. The service was average, it’s easter brunch and we anticipated a wait. I’m perfectly fine with waiting 40+ minutes for good food, but this is incredibly sub par. Find a hole in the wall with better flavor.

Food is overrated. We came in on Saturday and waited an hour for our food and didn’t see our server that entire time . It was just two of us. I totally understand being busy on a Saturday but an hour seems excessive.

It took 45 minutes to get food on a slow Wednesday afternoon. And then our order was messed up. Food was good but overpriced.

The berry french toast was my absolute favorite! Thick french toast with the perfect sweetness from the cream cheese and berry icing. The rest of the meal was pretty average for breakfast. I tried the paloma and it was way to sweet. It tasted like fruit juice instead of a traditional paloma.

Portion sizes were very small and prices did not reflect that. The crepes don’t even come with a side and they are $13! The food was nothing special compared to other brunch spots I go to. The server mixed up several of our table’s orders and I never even got the meal I chose — I got some random dish that some other table ordered. Our drinks took forever to come out. When it came time to pay, the server went around with a little machine and just read each of us the total. We didn’t even get to see receipts. And of course the only tipping options on the machine were 20/22/25% and to tip anything different you need to manually type it in. I despise restaurants who do this. I don’t need a server right in my face as I’m trying to pay. It’s uncomfortable and puts the person paying in an awkward spot as they feel pressured to give a big tip for subpar service and not write a manual tip. Remember the days when tipping 10/15/20% was standard? Tipping culture is out of control, and restaurants like Rooster perpetuate it.Giving Rooster 2 stars rather than 1 because of the very nice man who delivered our food. He was so kind and friendly. Hire more people like him!
