“Great brunch place. I appreciate the table service which was excellent. The menu selection was varied and I was very pleased with my selection of half a salad and half of a sandwich.Wheelchair accessibility: Zero grade entry. Tables and accessible bathrooms.“
“This review was originally a lot lower when I first wrote it... 2 starts at first. Im glad I waited to write it because what started off rocky ended so well.We came in and were seated right away. We ordered, but it was taking a long time to get our food. Turns out, they mispalced our ticket order... twice. The servers were very kind (except for 1 of them), but it was chaotic and not well organized. 4 other parties who came in after us got their food before we did. It was not a complicated order (deluxe biscuits and gravy and Traditional breakfast), so we had decided to leave. The owner then came out, hand delivered our food, and apologized for the inconvenience. So, we decided to stay.Let me tell you... the food was worth the wait. SOO DELICIOUS. Easily the best biscuits and gravy and I've ever had. Additionally, the fried potatos were exceptional; perfectly crisp and well seasoned. We didn't walk away stuffed and bloated; it was just the right amount. The only other downside was that they didn't do anything to comp our order in spite of the less than stellar service at the beginning. A little disappointing. We almost walked out, but Im so glad we didn't. We will be back next time we're in town! Thanks, Nadia!“
“Lovely little breakfast place. The Potato Pancakes were amazing! It is so hard to find a place with Potato Pancakes, so it was fantastic to find they not only have them, but have fantastic ones. We ordered several other dishes that were delicious too, but those Potato Pancakes are the star for sure! Can't wait til we are back in the area to have them again.Vegetarian options: Nice variety of Vegetarian Breakfast options.“
“Love coming here! Always get a good latte with vanilla shots. All the staff are friendly and approachable (shout-out to Mario and Andrea!) They have amazing omelettes you can get with pancakes, waffles, french toast, or biscuits and gravy. It's a great brunch place to also get your favorite drink or lunch!“
“Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Every plate had vibrant colors and a variety of lovely textures. The hash browns had a perfectly even layer of golden brown crisp to them. The pico de gallo was bright and authentic. The only part I didn't love was the chorizo, which was fine but not as rich and well-spiced as the chorizo I'm used to. The atmosphere is very conducive to long conversations and multiple cups of coffee or rounds of drinks, if you're into that at breakfast. Overall, this place is what First Watch wanted to be when it was a kid but never lived up to.“
“Good food.. just wish the waiter would have worried about our table just as much as the larger table. Not good for it to take 1.5 hours before your main food arrived.. but could have just been a off night.. still like the place and will go again in the future.“
“Finally made it to Honey Bees for some biscuits and gravy along with a breakfast Sammie. The 2 guys working the counter were warm and welcoming when I walked up. Of course, I wanted to try the biscuits & gravy as it's one of my go tos at any breakfast restaurant. The gravy was very delicious as I selected the classic sausage gravy. The reason I state classic is they have 3 choices of gravy. Yes, you heard me right 3 homemade gravies to select from for your huge biscuits with gravy. Sausage gravy, spicy sausage gravy, or vegan choice mushroom gravy. My only criticism would be to cut the biscuit in half, pour some gravy over it, then put the top back on and pour gravy over the top. The reason I say that is there needs to be more gravy as it's a huge biscuit, and I needed more gravy. Otherwise, it was too much biscuit and not enough gravy. Now they had Sammie, so I definitely had to try one. I selected the egg, cheese, and sausage Sammie. Nuw you get a choice on the type of biscuit for your Sammie. Love that they have different choices on their items. The biscuit choices are honey glazed or Midwest rancher, which is a spicy biscuit. You know me, I had to try the Midwest rancher biscuit. I haven't tried it yet, that will be breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I can tell you ita huge as are all their biscuits. My choice was egg, sausage, and cheese on the Midwest rancher biscuit. I looked at it and really smart the cook the egg in a square shape with great seasoning, sausage patty was big too boot and cheese was nice & fresh not a slice. So tomorrow, I will update you on the Sammie. Prices are definitely reasonable for these huge biscuit dishes, for sure. Also, there is inside or outdoor seating. Nice stop while you're out shopping for a quick bite to eat there or for take home, which was my preference. Need to take my little brother there so he can try out the tasty, delicious, huge biscuits. I really enjoy supporting local businesses for such fabulous homemade dishes.“
“GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IMMEDIATELY. Trust me. Get in the car right now. It was insane. I had the pork belly corn bread Benedict. Flavor was amazing. Crispy potatoes, divine corn bread. Pork belly was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Husband had the barbacoa and grits. Flavor was outstanding! Portions were generous. Service was fast and helped us with the menu selections. Taylor is outstanding!“
“Excellent service each time, which always makes a difference when you eat out. Delicious food, my go-to are the "2 for you" options. Salads, soups, and sandwiches are all delicious. Some items are not worth the price IMO, such as the pancakes. The tables in the far back can get loud, long wait times during brunch.“
“We had a great breakfast!!Loved the baked oatmeal and spinach-beet juice ?Had the big breakfast!!!Incredible!!!This is our new go to for breakfast.Great to finally have a place you can get healthy food!!Vegetarian options: Spinach beet juice is amazing!!The baked oatmeal was delicious ?“
“Our food and service is very hit or miss. Sometimes we have amazing service and the food isn't as great and other times our service isn't great but food is. The menu and food choices are great. The wait times to be seated are horrible, but if you go on a weekday it's not as bad. The environment is extremely loud, dishes clanging from the kitchen, servers yelling, people talking and crammed in the walkways waiting, seating is very close to others unless you get one of the very limited booths. All in all it's fairly good and service is usually decent on average.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shack's Breakfast & Lunch and overall, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was top-notch. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests truly stood out.The food at Shack's was delicious and satisfying, with a variety of breakfast and lunch options to choose from. The portions were generous and the dishes were well-prepared. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall charm of the restaurant. However, I would rate Shack's Breakfast & Lunch a 4.5 stars because I found the water served to be a bit interesting. It had a different taste than what I was used to, which was a minor drawback for me. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Shack's for a tasty meal and excellent service. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu offerings in the future.“
“This is a good, fast place to grab breakfast but you need to get here early or you will hit the rush. The menu is large and will have something for diets of all varieties, including vegan and vegetarian. My personal favorite is the AM Superfoods Bowl and the side of almond butter toast.“
“We love meeting up with friends. Food is great and plentiful! We have .et up at various locations. All good.Vegetarian options: Always accom.odates food allergies or preferences.Dietary restrictions: I have a diary allergy, and they are very helpful.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible for walkers, cane-assisted, or wheelchairs.“
“I recently dined Clover & The Bee and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxed, it was the perfect spot to unwind. But what really stole the show was the food and drinks! Their chocolate martinis were to die for - rich, creamy, and utterly decadent. But what really impressed me was the service. Our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable. When I mentioned I had gluten intolerance, she went above and beyond to investigate which dishes included gluten and suggested alternatives. She even double-checked with the kitchen to make sure I was safe.On top of the excellent service, the food was delightful! Overall, I'm so impressed with Clover & The Bee. The combination of great food, drinks, and service makes it a must-visit spot. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free crackers in lieu of the pita with the hummus.“
“The people who work at this fine establishment are most definitely the best that you can find in the food service industry. Also, the restaurant is one of a dying breed that has stayed open with 24-hour service after COVID.Vegetarian options: It is a short-order restaurant so if you can think of it they'll be happy to make what ever you can dream up.Dietary restrictions: They try really hard to ask for any restrictions of your diet and how they can help you order a healthy meal.Parking: The parking lot is really large and only on the weekends is there any shortage of parking spots.“
“Overall great experience. This was my second time getting food there, first time eating in. I was craving catfish and grits and the internet photos said they had it. I called to confirm and we were on our way. It was so yummy and had a creole sauce with sautéed onions on top of the cheesy grits. My catfish was super crispy (almost overcooked but I asked for extra crispy) and not salty at all which really complimented the savory grits. It really hit the spot. My partner had a burger and I had a bite at his urging and I will be back to get one of my own when I’m craving a burger. It was toasty and flavorful. The food is really rich though so it’s definitely something I will only indulge in sparingly. Everything was cooked to order and fresh which is a huge plus for me and worth the wait. Only 3 stars for atmosphere because the was radio playing, tvs were on…I was a little over stimulated! lol. Great family owned business!“
“This is one of the best breakfast spots in St. Louis. Good service, classic authenticity, and great flavors. If you're looking for an authentic breakfast experience that transcends the overdone and over-processed tastes at major breakfast chains, then this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. I loved the food and genuinely felt full throughout the day with what I was able to eat for under $20.“
“People here are very nice but it seems they are so used to their script and laying it on so thick that when a person walks in and just wants to see a menu they get confused.I am in town on a business trip and I have some dietary limitations so I wanted to see if they had menu items that fit my diet and my expense limitations. It seemed like I made the woman's head explode when I asked to see a menu and after the fact she kind of made me feel like she thought there was something wrong with me.The rest of the experience was nice but the older ladies there lay it on pretty thick with their interactions with you. The younger ladies seem to be a bit more real with you. I don't fault these ladies for working super hard for their tips and I applaud them for doing so because it must be super exhausting for them because the level of effort they put in to it is extreme. The prices are reasonable, the people there are nice, and the food is good so I would definitely recommend this place.“
“Not sure why it took me so long to try Good Day, but I'm so glad that I finally did! This place is probably my new favorite dining option at the City Foundry. I placed my order online, and less than 15 minutes later, I received a text that it was ready! I ordered a Build Your Own Ancient Grains Bowl with chicken, broccoli, sweet potato, mozzarella, and lemon vinaigrette. Although it's a little pricey at $15, the portion size is pretty big and very filling. I'd say it's probably the biggest bang for your buck out of all the other City Foundry dining options. I've tried other places at the Foundry that are about the same price but you get significantly less food than at Good Day. Definitely check this place out!“
“The over easy eggs were done properly, and the bacon was great. Biscuits and gravy were good. As usual, the hashbrowns were delicious. The server and cook both were very good.Parking: Arnold location. They probably have 25 parking spaces or more.Kid-friendliness: They offer a child menu, and my granddaughters just love going their with their grandparents (us).Wheelchair accessibility: From what I can tell, Waffle House is completely ADA compliant.“
“Today was our first time here. Everything was great. We went to have our tires replaced and went on a walk. We decided to stop in to check it out, and I'm really glad we did. Everyone was super friendly. The only downside is that they are only open until 2 pm. Other than that, they're fantastic.“
“First time visiting this spot while visiting my Dad. He enjoys coming here and I can see why. The food was delicious. I cleaned up that skillet dish and was sad when I realized the consumption was over. Obviously I'd had enough and I was full. But... The flavors were so good I was just bummed when it was done.“
“Today was our very first time dining at Rooster South Grand. The food was very good but what was even more delightful was our waitress. She was just wonderful. Very nice and pleasant...knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations on what we should order. We will definitely return.“
“The worker “Princess” was amazing!!! She really did a wonderful job with keeping everything together. Amazing personality, very sweet, and made sure to check on everyone even when they were extra busy. If I come back the 3.5 hours I will be stopping by here again just to see her!!“
“I literally eat waffle house 3 times a week and it's wonderful every time I go!!Vegetarian options: Hashbrowns, waffles, biscuitsDietary restrictions: Menu is clear about dietary restrictionsParking: Huge parking lot easy to get in and out of!!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Definitely wide enough for a wheelchair“
“We have been here several times and always have such great service. The food is always wonderful and filling.Vegetarian options: There are items that are clearly vegetarian, and you can, as I often do, ask for whatever meat item is in the dish to be left out. I've never had a problem when I've asked for an opt-out.Wheelchair accessibility: Paved up ramp from parking lot and 4 or 5 handicapped parking spots.“
“Visiting from the Twin Cities and was lucky to find Blondies! Great food and service! I had the salmon bagel and was happily surprised that it was build-your-own. They gave a perfect amount of cream cheese for my bagel which is rare. Tried one of my moms pancakes and it was genuinely some of the best I’ve had! My latte was great too. Definitely will stop back if I’m ever in STL again.“
“The CUTEST little spot that gives you modern farm to table vibes!!DELICIOUS smoothie, gluten free option for Crepes and crispy bacon. Great menu options!!The perfect precursor to walking around at the Arch and taking in downtown views. They seemed a tad understaffed and a little slow but overall we had good service and a pleasant experience!!“
“Omgsh the staff was so sweet and amazing even when my autistic daughter had a full on melt down they were super stars about it. The food was amazing! Would highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Had a ramp on the entrance and a nice big bathroom.“
“We love Dave's Diner! We always get fast, friendly service. We love the nostalgia of the place and the food is always on-point. When we bring the family, everyone can order what they want and it's still affordable. We will continue eating here!“
