Excellent food and priced accordingly! HUGE PLATES OF FOOD!! The pancake was wider than our 6 yr olds body. He barely made a dent...LOL. Definitely worth the drive from Carl Junction/Joplin area. Highly recommended especially if heading to Stockton Lake as its right next door!!
We have invited many people to this Cafe for their Catfish. My husband loves their Catfish so we did eat there often in the summer. However, the last time we ate there the food was cold. I mentioned this on a post the owner made. In my opinion, his comment was snarky and rude. Most owners would be apologetic. It was not until 2 other individuals complained about the same night that the owner "checked" his equipment. He state the equipment wad rhe problem and offered a free meal....read full review

Ken's Kafe is a great find with fantastic food and exceptional service. The catfish is a highlight, and breakfast is also a winner. Despite some minor issues with parking and server workload, the restaurant consistently delivers large, fresh portions at reasonable prices. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-return spot for many visitors.
